Dodoni — Restaurant in Sami Municipality

The most expensive ice cream scoop that I ever bough! Of course, in Fiskardo, you expect to pay a little more for just about everything, but what I object to is the deceptive practice. We had seen the price of 2.5€ for a scoop, so we ordered one, but imagine my surprise when the bill was 3.5€. OK, it doesn't break your budget, but the 40% discrepancy in price between what you expect to pay and the bill is more than irritating. The cashier explained that this was because the ice cream was sold by weight! I don't even know if that is true, but I didn't want to make a scene in front of my 10-year old daughter for whom I had ordered the scoop, so I paid and I promptly left, never to return! In general, Fiskardo, which is a very pretty town, is a bit of a tourist trap. Another day there, in another shop, my wife was looking for a bathing suit; she found one, for 330€! So, I suppose that Dodoni's commercial practices are in line with those that prevail...

Service was abrupt to the manic nature of the place. Lots of crowds with people not understanding you have to queue to choose your flavours before paying and staff not saying this to them instead letting them push and shove inside when I’m waiting to pay for my ice cream, which has already started to melt and drip everywhere.
