The waiter who welcomed us in was very friendly. The place looked cozy and nice. After we sat down, it was all downhill from there. We ordered two beers at first and my hubby got one with a broken glass. Then we got to order the food. They didn't have the 3 first options I tried to order from the menu. At last I managed to get small pork steaks from the grill. My hubby got pork souvlaki. While we were waiting our meals one waiter hit me on the head with a tray. He just qickly sais sorry and moved on. Later on another waiter needed to grab my shoulder in order to move faster between the tables. The place was packed and they just carried more tables in. Maybe they should keep more room for the waiters to run around or maybe the waiters should slow down a bit and focus on a good customer service. The food was a huge disappointment. My pork steaks were very chewy and not seasoned at all. French fries were very soft and oily on both of our dishes. Hubby's souvlaki was also tasteless. We have had souvlaki 3 times in different restaurants in Greece before this one and the one they gave us here was a rock bottom compared to them. Also the rice served with it was cold. At the same time when the food arrived we kindly asked for two more beers and a new glass instead of the broken one. We never got them and since the food was so bad we coudn't really eat much of it we asked for a check and left. Maybe the seafood would have been better, I don't know? But if you can't do anything else besides seafood, don't add it...
Read moreMy wife and I ate there on ten consecutive evenings in early June. Exceptionally friendly welcome, quick service, reasonable prices - eg bread, 2 mains, dessert, a ½-kilo of draught wine, and coffees, for around the €50 mark for two. I'm a faddy eater - I like plain, rather than fancy saucy food, so the menu was great for me, with various meat, chicken, and fish fishes, as well a Greek ones, with the saucy dishes also available for those who like them. One feature, especially if you are dining with youngsters, is that several tables are right by the water's edge, and if you don't eat all of your bread, the ravenous fish in the water below will fight each other like dogs for any crumbs you drop in for them! Plus you can watch the occasional plane landing and ferries docking...
Read moreWe liked this restaurant so much, we visited twice during our stay in Skiathos. The main server said the moussaka is his mom's home cooking, and everything was delicious. Very friendly, professional service.
Generous portions. Very reasonable prices.
Dinner al fresco, with a full moon on the seaport: priceless.
Update: the owner has requested that I remove the photos of the menu with the prices. He said it has created "a problem" for them. I complied. After removing the photos, he became quite beligerante, and I had to block him from...
