They use vegan labels but don’t know what they mean. I have a dairy allergy and the last day of my holiday was ruined. The irony is, loads of Greek food is dairy free but they felt the need to advertise vegan risotto which clearly had cheese in it. They deleted it from the bill and apologised and offered to take me to hospital. The hospitality of Greek people is the best in the world so when I raised it with them I just expected more sincerity rather than ‘it’s okay , we are sorry.’ Anyway dont the word vegan if you don’t know what it means; it could have serious consequences . I guess a free drink or maybe 25% of the bill would have been nice. But nothing. They just didn’t understand how serious this is. Also I should probably add; they give little ice creams as a compliment at the end of the meal - my friends who don’t have allergies were not offered this. They hated the fact they made a massive mistake but didn’t care to resolve it :( it was very sad and two people who were British felt the need to pipe up and were...

We could totally feel this in the taste of our meals! We enjoyed a variety of vegetable-based starters as well as meat-based mains (we plan to return for the fish). Pro tip: you should try the local portokalopita, or orange pie, as a dessert. Special thanks to Georgia for sharing her best advice throughout our dinner, it really...
Read moreOh my goodness, we were so lucky to find this true gem! We dined 4 times and every dish was ever SO fresh and tasty - Moussaka, Stifado, Cretan salad, stuffed peppers, calamari, veal steak and so on. In particular grilled sea bream and sea bass were perfect. Having an ice cold draft Alfa and mojito was refreshing and all the house wine was also very good. Above all, Georgia and Mathaios who run this taverna are absolutely amazing! They treated us as if we were their best friends or family. If you're looking for a lovely place for great food, this is the one. Bus stop 16. Make sure you go there early enough(before 19:00)otherwise it...
