La Boheme Beach Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

On our first day In Thasos we were recommended to come on this beach by our host. They gave us a discount card and told us to show it to the staff there.

We arrived on this beach and showed the card to a guy member of staff (who never wished to introduced himself to us), and explain to him whom gave us the card. The deal was if we buy drinks for a certain amount of money we should get free seats on the beach. He looked at the card and agreed with the deal, and directed us where we should sit and order.

After 20-30 min a young girl (?18yo) showed up for us so we ca order the drinks. When I was ready to pay I noticed that the amount is way more that it should have been. She was trying to charge us for the seats aswell. I’ve asked her to kindly check with her colleague whom directed us there and reminded her of our discount card. She then adjusted the numbers and charged us only for the drinks.

After 30 min a differed member of their staff ( a lady whom also didn’t wish to introduced herself ) came with the drinks and told us that there has been a misunderstanding and we shouldn’t have received a discount and we should pay for the seats too.

I’ve understood her and told her if we have to pay for the seats then we’ll prefer to get different ones, more close to the sea and a bit far from the loud speakers. She did not want to give us this option, moreover insisting that I should pay now for this seats. I reminded her of the initial deal and the fact that her colleagues have already agreed twice on this deal but she walked away saying something which did not sounded like greek language.

After two minutes the first guy member of staff came back to us insisting to pay the seats. we’ve explained to them that we understand the confusion but if we must pay the seats then we’ll prefer to have different ones. He did not agree with this option, instead he was insisting to pay the seats or leave with the drinks.

Reminded him that he agreed twice for the initial deal, and his replay to this was if we don’t pay or leave he will call the security on us. He also mentioned that he’ll make sure that our holiday is gonna be a hell.

At this point the atmosphere wasn’t too friendly, the music was also too loud as they sit us near the speakers. Obviously we left that place as we saw there isn’t anyone that we can understand each other with.

We strongly don’t recommend this place. None of the staff wanted to introduce themselves, they were also arrogant and rude.

Never went back there...

Really disappointed about our visit at “La Boheme”. The place was recommended to us by many people around the beach saying that they will have a specific Greek night and it’s a good and safe place to go to. We reserved a table of 6 on a Friday night.

Cons:

The service was extremely slow (we waited close to an hour only to be asked what drinks we want; the food came at the two hour mark after we got seated). The food was mediocre to say the least ( I ordered a Burger Medium Rare and it came extremely well done and cold; Another person got a grilled Octopus with rice and again it came cold and soggy; The Leg of Lamb came from an anemic animal with how small it was; The Pita bread was the frozen kind you would buy from any generic supermarket; The Aperol Spritz had hardly any alcohol in it and we had to ask multiple times until it arrived; The fried zucchini were soggy and undercooked; The fried shrimp came with the intestines still in it; and other small stuff that in the end added up) -While we did have Live music, it was so loud that you could barely hold a conversation with the person seated next to you -At the end when we asked for the check, there were extra items added on it -The tables were moving and we had to find a way of securing them ourselves since we barely saw our waiters in the first hour of being there

Pros: -The place looks very nice -Live music (As far as I understood, they don’t always have live music)

In conclusion, I would give this place 1.5 stars if I could and that only because they did have some problems with the system which made things a bit harder for them. This dinner was close to 170 euro which is extremely overpriced for what we got. Our last dinner in Greece was very disappointing and I cannot recommend anyone to go for...

Начитавшись прекрасных отзывов, решили посетить это место. Причём посетили его дважды: сначала ресторан, на следующий день пляж и бар. А теперь подробнее и по порядку. Ребята, видимо, конкретно расслабились или зазвездили. При входе в ресторан, никто не обратил на нас внимание и не предложил столик. Сели сами. Официант принёс меню и убежал тут же. Ждали долго... Пока от скуки я не начала фотографировать меню. (по секрету скажу, иногда это здорово работает) Тут же появилась девушка и положила салфетки и приборы. Ещё минут через 5 подошёл официант. Заказали осминога с карамелизированным луком 2 порции. Когда принесли блюдо, осьминог оказался на тарелке с пучком травы и кусочком лимона. На мой вопрос: " А где карамелизированным лук?" Официант ответил:" Возможно, ингредиента нет в наличии. (это лука нет в наличии😳!) Что ж тогда это за кухня? Да и вообще,- сказал официант- в блюде здесь главный--осьминог! А остальное не важно! 😳Я прекрасно представляю себе блюдо, которое заказала, ели не однократно ранее в других местах. Хотелось ответить : "Ну, тогда неважно сколько я заплачу, за блюдо которое не соответствует" не стала портить себе настроение...Кстати, на "комплимент" от заведения ( что принято в приличной греческой таверне) тоже можете не рассчитывать. Его здесь не подают. На следующий день мы решили провести день на этом пляже. Подвесные "кровати" соблазнили... Менеджер на пляже сообщил, что стоимость арены на день 50 евро. На эту сумму мы можем есть и пить из меню бара!!!!! А ВОТ ТУТ ВНИМАНИЕ! Это важно! Стоимость чека из ресторана не учитывается. Мы хотели пообедать и попробовать что-то то ещё в ресторане, чтобы снять осадок предыдущего дня. Вдвоем( мы - девочки) наесть и напить на 50 евро очень сложно. Первое, что мы заказали было два смузи. Через пару минут, прибежал официант и сказал, что смузи нет. Ок. Принесите тогда два фреша! Апельсин и фруктовый микс. Апельсиновый фреш, оказался треш! Просто из реально испорченного, подгнившего и подбродившего апельсина. Пить его не стала, заменили на ещё один микс. Еда отвратительно не съедобная, для такого места - вообще позор! Заказали пиццу. Заявлено было как Маргарита и с Ветчиной и грибами. Принесли две толстые лепешки с толстым слоем сыра, грибов там мы так и не нашли. Дальше был коктейль из воды с каплей мартини, вкус которого исчез через минуту... Потом попробовали заказать мороженное из меню, но официант предложил мне сходить за ним самостоятельно в кафе, т. к на пляж они его не носят, несмотря на то что в меню оно указано. Из сносного оказалось только фраппе с мороженным. Короче на 50 евро наесть мы не смогли. Я вела подсчёт, оказалось наели на 41 евро. Когда собрались уходить, официант, сказал что мы можем заказать что- то ещё, т.к ОПЯТЬ Внимание!!!! На балансе у нас ещё 4 евро. Спорить и доказывать ничего не хотелось, потому что есть и пить из бара тоже ничего уже не моглось, а 50 евро вынь да положь. Мы были готовы морально с ними растаться. В итоге, взяли фруктовый салат за 3,5. В итоге вывод: мухлюют с деньгами и чеками(приносили через раз) и минус 5евро на балансе. В ресторан естессстно мы не пошли. Вывод :идите в семейные домашние уютные таверны, где дорожат своим именем и борются за качество еды и сервис. Пляжный бизнес—отстой! Да и ещё, персонал курит на пляже, прямо среди лежаков и громкая музыка весь день тоже...
