I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mare Verde Italian Restaurant, and I must say it was a culinary experience that exceeded my expectations. Italian food?! That's a joke...!!! That's a restaurant for desperate hungry people!!! First of all they don't give a dime about their service. They care mainly for their orders for delivery...

We were waiting 45 minutes to be served our first dish which was a salad - that's another joke - and additionally 30 minutes to have our pizza!!! We started complaining after the first hour but we got only weird excuses! When we warned that we want to leave, the waiter informed us that our pizza was ready for serving!!!

About the food:

We ordered the #6 salad (rucola, spinach, caramelized walnuts, prociuto and parmesan). That was the worst salad i have ever had. The dressing had a weird greasy and sour flavor, so much of it I could swear it was a soup-salad!!! The veggies awful, can you imagine that???. Parmesan and prociuto... Not even close!!! Of course we never finished it...

Our pizza was an easy one. 4 ingredients. Dough, fresh mozzarella, basil leaves and tomato sauce. Except the dough and Basil leaves everything else was a complete disappointment. Tasteless, flavourless.. how can anyone succeed that in a pizza?! We almost finished it because we were hungry... But we are still laughing about that!

We had also ordered fresh tagliatelle with 4 cheese sauce... After 1 hour and 20 minutes, we couldn't get the information from the waiter whether we will get this dish that evening or not!!! To be honest, i am still greatful that we never got that dish. I am not sure how much worse this would or could be... We asked for the bill... We paid 29€ for a pizza, a salad, 2 beers and a Coke...!!!! I will remember this for the rest of my life! It was by far the worst experience i had in a... Restaurant! ...and I didn't mentioned how "beautiful" service they had. 😂 That is another...

Worst experience ever! Avoid this restaurant with any price! They're thieves, literally! I've ordered an espresso, 2 fish soup, one pizza, fresh tagliatele with asparagus and guanciale,some beer and lemonade. I've asked the waiter to bring me the coffee as soon as possible. After 10 minutes of waiting, I've asked again if he forgot about it. He said that it should be ready in next 3-4 minutes. After another 10 minutes he came telling me that the capucino machine need to be cleaned and it takes about 20-30 minutes,but he said that I can get an espresso. I said yes and (finally) after another 10 minute I had a coffee. After half an hour since the order was taken. After 45 minutes they brought the "fish" soup. Surprise : chicken soup. The soup was ok, but chicken. I thought that I've ordered chicken soup by mistake and I did check the menu again. There is only one soup in the menu : fish soup... I asked the waiter again to confirm that is the fish soup. He said that is sea bream soup. Then I showed him the pieces of chicken inside the bowl. Then he accused us for not telling him before putting the spoon inside. Really? How would I know what's inside before checking? I wanted to speak with the manager or the cook. No chance... I said : OK, I'd pay for a chicken soup but not for fish. They said it's the same price. OK then, show me on the menu. Oh, no, we cook different dishes on special order and they are not shown on the menu. But mine was regular order from the menu...
