Paralia Nouveau Beachbar — Attraction in Thassos Municipality

Positive experience: Long and wide sandy beach; Shallow sea tens of meters inside the water (which is good for children, but unsuitable for swimming; Big and free parking area; Prices are ok free WC at the bar

Negative experience: Long waiting time for waiters to notice you; long waiting time for service in general. I think they went to Brazil for gathering some coffee beans to make me an espresso; Beach bar is relatively far away from the sun beds; If you want to pay by credit card, you have to go to the bar. No POS in waiters. After we decided to leave, we couldn’t manage to find a waiter who is willing to come and take our money, so I went to the bar with the receipt and payed by card. Right after this, when we were leaving, one of the waiters was literally running after us to see if we had payed. Misinformation about the prices of all the sun beds. Till the end, we didn’t manage to understand what price is what. Of course, nobody tells you. There is some kind of minimal consumption for taking sun beds but still not sure which is what. At some point there was a waiter that didn’t behave correctly and maybe because we are foreigners for this wonderful country, he tried to scam us with some money. Still, no bad feelings, but be careful 🙏🏻

This is a good beach bar with a decent level of service and quality of food. There are very few small things that are easy to amend and make it THE perfect beach bar: Music is too loud. No one. I repeat - NO ONE ever went to the beach and said "You know what's missing?! Loud music". Don't get me wrong, play your music, but no need to blast it, the sounds from the waves can be audible too.

Either being able to order online/via app or at least being able to call the waitress/waiter via app/button/whatever. It's a big beach and sometimes it takes a while to get their attention.

Improve the shade on the puffs area. Like it's good but it's got holes and is not very thick. There is room for improvement and shouldn't be very difficult really - just add another layer of sticks and some on the side as high...

Fantastic location and water. Fantastic beach bar. Sunbeds are free against some orders from the bar.... But noooo, please don't believe this... Is a big scam. If you want beds in the first row you need to make reservation in advance. They ask for 5eur. Then next day you find out you need to pay 20 eur... Instead of letting tourist to enjoy the vacation, you need to order immediately first order comes after 1 hour... If you want to leave for a small break you just loss the beds...even if you paid for the entire day..... So 25 EUR for half a day..but even worse if you return after lunch you need to move in the rear rows and start co summing again :(. Guys.... I suggest you seriously consider your staff...
