Hotel Sgouridis — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

It was our second time here. Hotel is in an excellent location in Limenaria. Street Coctail Bar is just below the hotel. Good restaurants are within 5 minutes walking distance. The rooms are basic and clean, not very comfortable for longer stays (3+ nights) though. View from the room is nice, especially if you are on the right side of the hotel. A/C and internet are working fine. The only bad thing is there was a distinct smell from the toilet. My opinion is the hotel needs a renovation followed by slightly higher prices. The hotel owner Kostas is an incredibly nice and supportive guy. He was always friendly and available whenever we needed. Also, we had to leave the hotel early for an emergency situation and he didn’t charge the last night, although I insisted. My wife and I had to break our 6 day honey moon in 3 days in one place and 3 in a different hotel. Due to some fact, the first 3 days turned into 2 and we wanted a hotel for just 1 night. Found this one and loved it. The price was small for just showing up and getting the room (40 Euro), the owners were great (they even alowed us to have a romantic dinner ON THE ROOF TOP of their hotel that night, with candles and cake - it was her birthday as well). Had no problem with the wi-fi (we had the top floor and the wi-fi did not get to our room, but we've used it from the sofa on the small lobby). They were glad to fulfill our requests and that counted a lot for me. TV and AC was provided for free (some in Limenaria will ask for more money if you want AC). I would recomend this...

It's our second time here. All we can say it is a very nice, small hotel, that is located just above the main pedestrian street in Limenaria, and around 5 min (less then) to the beach. Kostas, the owner is such a great guy, very helpful, always there for whatever you need, always kind, like he is part of the family. 100000/10. The rooms are small, clean - everyday basic cleaning, on 3-4 days towels and bedsheets are changed. Every room has an a/c that is free of charge, TV with cable chanels, fridge. You can see that the paint on the wall is fresh, that all hotel has nice clean smell. The doors on the rooms are being changed, so it's only getting better.
