We booked this place because of TikTok. We had seen the little show there with plate throwing, waving the white napkins, and even lighting the aisle on fire (yes, that actually happens). And indeed, it did happen — a fun bonus.

To be fair, the food itself was half-decent. Don’t expect anything high-end, but if you’re after simple and plenty, this does the job, but there are certainly better options around.

The staff, however, really left a lot to be desired. Everywhere else on Zakynthos I’ve met such lovely people, both in touristy and non-touristy spots. I’m generally very forgiving, especially when it’s busy, but here the staff sighed and groaned at the table, we had to pour our own wine, after the main course we had to wait ages for a coffee/dessert menu, when setting down the aperitifs they didn’t even look at us, and to top it all off, while I was paying the bill (with a tip) the waiter answered his mobile phone.

Honestly, a really poor reflection compared to how warmly we were treated everywhere else...

Aliotiko Restaurant is hands down one of the best dining experiences we had in Zakynthos! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautiful, inviting atmosphere. The interior is tastefully designed – stylish, cozy, and full of charm. You can feel that attention has been paid to every detail.

The food was absolutely delicious! While everything we tried was full of authentic Greek flavor, the highlight for us was definitely their Margherita pizza – simple, yet bursting with fresh ingredients and the perfect crust. It’s easily one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had, even better than some we've tried in Italy!

Service was friendly and fast, and the entire experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family outing, or just a great place to enjoy amazing food, Aliotiko is a must-visit.
