It’s a very delicious Greek traditional tavern at Zakynthos , the daily fresh cooked food is 100% from a Greek traditional woman , the mother of the owner , every day has new menu, some main dishes are a must daily standard and many other main dishes are cooked daily and are different each day. I had the opportunity to eat three days at this place . The pasta with chicken , beef with red sauce and fried potatoes , the briami wich is cooked potatoes with eggplant and zucchini in red sauce of fresh tomatoes , also another dish is amazing beef youvetsi with powder cheese, cold beer I tried and Greek traditional salat. I totally suggest for you to visit the Greek Traditional Tavern you will not be disappointed , the service is very friendly and you can have take away food and also delivery . The only detail about the time that is open is from 1pm till 5pm approx and then from 7pm till almost midnight , the time schedule depends the amount of costumers , but if you book a table they can stay open more than expected and even more if you are a group of tourists they can stay open more . That’s all , I have visited this tavern from 27 till 29 June of 2024. Trust me I have been all over the world at many restaurants , that one is amazing and healthy food and good prices for a summer touristic place , and also the atmosphere is cozy and calm and it’s not hot, it’s on ground floor and has amazing access for people who can’t walk many steps . Wow! What a find!!! A hidden gem in Zakynthos! Service was absolutely 1st class and polite. The owner was super helpful and the food was just amazing! No need to go to high end places as this place serves high end food! Food that is cooked using only the freshest of fresh ingredients on a daily basis'. Serves are very generous. The eggplant dish and the grilled feta with herbs and spices was absolutely divine. Finger licking good - this is our new go to place whenever we visit this amazing island. Highly recommended. Put this place on your eatery shopping list. I guarantee you will not be disappointed...

Small restaurant is driven by the owner. Located a little bit away from tourists center but it's worth to go here to try local homemade products. Menu is short, it's only suggestion what is served. Every day they propose 5-6 different main dishes with vegetarian option. Time of waiting for the meal is acceptable. Staff is nice and friendly. Comparing to different restaurants this one is not...
