Bonanza — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Firstly the staff were attentive and the service was good but for us it went down hill from there. The quality of the food was way below the standard of the restaurants we had eaten in on the previous 3 nights. Example chicken slovaki. The plates are big but they bulk up the plate with chips, over half the plate was chips. 1/4 of the plate was a very limp salad which was past its serving date. The chicken consisted of 3 skewers of meat, looked a lot but wasn’t good quality. They would do better to concentrate on quality over quantity. Wine at this restaurant was over 10 euros a bottle more than any of the previous 3 restaurants we had eaten in for what appeared to be the same quality. Nothing we noticed was the amount of waste food which was going back when other tables had finished their food. In our eyes another sign of the oversized poor quality food. There appear to be a lot of people saying it’s the best food they have ever tasted. Really if this is the case, which I doubt it is and possibly locals remarking to boost there rating, they need to head over to Menta, Grecos and Sizzle Bang. In our eyes £4£...

DO NOT EAT HERE. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for 5 plates of pasta, didn’t apologise for the wait, when it finally arrived the waiter didn’t even place the food down on the table and instead had us pass it to eachother, also didn’t offer pepper/parmesano. Then it started to rain and we were on the outside seating so had to pick up our plates and stand and eat them in the middle of the restaurant because none of the staff did anything to accommodate. We had a Seafood Pizza, some pasta and two times the salmon and prawns dish. The prawns on the pizza were not peeled. It looked like a pizza margarita with some seafood dropped on top and it had no flavour. The same applies for the salmon and prawns dish, the prawns were not peeled and also difficult to peel.
