Granada Greek Tavern — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

The place is very overrated. First of all the guy who served us was kind of tired of tourists... moving slow and like we owed him something. Second: the food is not great, we took the Greek plate for 2, and it was mainly food from yesterday ( this is how it looked and tasted). Another thing I was surprised he did not bring us water and only when I asked he said I did not order water ( every greek restaurant before served us tap water with ice all the time). He brought us a bottled water and put it on the table. No bread either, he again looked surprised, kind of disagreed with me when I asked for bread. Such an attitude!!! This is the worst place l've ever visited! At the table next to us, they refused to eat a steak that wasn't edible at all! Then the waiter approached them and said that if they didn't like it, they should go to another restaurant. That's what the owner said. They paid their bill and left. We were still waiting for our dish to be cooked on the fire, but eventually, our waiter approached us, brought our dish, and said that he wouldn't be making a show out of cooking our dish on the fire! Easy to access place with one of the widest range of dishes on the menu. You can find anything from traditional greek food to international cuisine in one place, at a reasonable price. It's usually pretty full around dinner time. The staff speaks great english; one can also ask for a menu card in several other languages. Has plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
