Sizzle N' Grill — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Tried many places during our recent stay in Zakynthos and most were lovely. Both myself and my partner love Mexican food so were delighted to find Sizzle n Grill and their varied fajita's. We ordered a starter which was a spicy cheese dip which was okay then i had the vegetarian fajita's and my partner had the chicken. The food came out and seemed to be missing a few things from the menu, the portion sizes were very small and the taste was okay but average at best. The mains were around 12.5 euros each which we absolutely would have no problem paying if all came as described, was a reasonable size and tasted worth it. We did bring this up with the server and he then said we didnt get some things because they are struggling to get them on the Island, which is fine however I feel we should have been told this when we ordered. The server really did not seem to care that we had not had a good experience and just sort of snubbed us off. I would not recommend as really did not feel it was worth the money in all aspects and much nicer...

Yum the food was good here! I do not know, why we were a bit surprised about that. Maybe because the decorations were not super cozy, but that is not also what’s important. Our food came fast and we also got at kids pizza (which were delicious too). The chicken was juicy and just yummy (the best we had in this town) - and it was the first place, where we got potatoes instead fries, which we like very much. The Greek Bruschetta and the Moussaka were delicious as well. You could really taste that this food was made with love by Greek mothers (we could see the ladies in the kitchen - and we thanked them after the meal). The staff were really nice too - and we thanked them as well for their great service. If we had stayed longer, we would definitely have been back...

After hearing so many good stories about this place we gave it a go. What a disappointment. We were a group of 6 and were met with friendly staff and seated. We ordered drinks and about 15 mins later ordered food. After some time I noticed other customers come in after us and get their meals before us. Some even came and went before we were served our food. After nearly 75 mins we got our food. My "medium fillet steak" was anything but a fillet steak. Probably 3cm tall and no red/pink colour inside to speak of. I'd suggest the ropy bit of steak had been cooked and then left under some heat for a while. Others like this place, but I'd never go back or recommend this place. If you want a good steak go to Heavans Kitchen further...
