Skinos Restaurant Pool Bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

I was in this location in august 2024. This has a great potential, good looks, panorama, but sadly the personnel and the owner spoiled an otherwise pleasant evening. I am here in vacation and i am looking for a good time. I understand things cannot go our way all the time, but being passive aggressive when I complaint about food being really really bad, goes against all my experience as a tourist in Greece. You Sir, are a disgrace for the effort of good people that work in the restaurant business across Greece Not only that i was almost forced to eat the food, but i was also forced to pay for it - an insult to me as a customer. I will never come here again, nor will I recommend this establishment to my friends. Later edit: thank you for proving my point with your reply! In this business you should learn and improve based on clients criticism, not insult them while calling it "kindness". Following our feedback that was requested by your staff, we pointed out the meat quality is disappointing and instead of getting an apology or a solution, we got a whole dramatic scene about how we are at fault for this, an angry waiter that refused to take the plate even tho we requested politely, arguments that we used the wrong knife and the presence of the owner ( assumibly as he never introduced himself) to scold us about...

Hidden Gem in Zakynthos – Skinos is Pure Magic!

We’ve been to Skinos Restaurant several times now – for lunch, drinks, and dinner – and every time we are blown away. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Zakynthos.

The food is magically delicious: carefully prepared, full of flavor, and with a creative touch, all while staying true to the heart of Greek cuisine. Everything is just perfect – from the first bite to the final dessert. But Skinos is so much more than just amazing food.

The cocktails here are absolutely incredible – each one crafted with care and creativity, and many of them come with a personal story or inspiration behind them. They’re not just drinks; they’re part of the experience. Definitely worth trying!

The location is stunning, beautifully designed, and filled with atmosphere. Every detail reflects thoughtfulness and care. And the people… truly the heart of the place! Warm, professional, and above all: they work with genuine passion. You can feel it in everything they do.

Where do I even begin – Skinos is an absolute hidden gem

Emphasis on gem, because Skinos truly is something special. The atmosphere is incredible, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff — unbelievably friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed.

We ended up spending almost the entire day here — from late morning until well into the afternoon. The pool is lovely, the facilities are great, and the bar is fantastic. Their drink menu is extensive and well curated, with plenty of great options.

Let’s not forget the breathtaking view. At one point we moved to the rooftop terrace for lunch, and honestly, I could have stayed there for hours just taking it all in. Zakynthos has many places with beautiful views, but this one truly stood out — not just because of the scenery, but because everything else was just as good.

If you’re planning to visit, I definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you’re interested in one of the cabana beds — there are only four, so booking ahead is wise.

There is parking available on-site, so that’s one less thing to worry about.
