The Deli Kitchen — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We were very disappointed with our dinner experience here last week. The “vibe” of the restaurant is great - gorgeous view and decor. I was really excited to try the gluten-free pizza. Unfortunately, the dough was like eating a bland cracker. I wish the waiter would have checked in on how our dinner was! The service was just as bad. For example, once a larger table came in we were completely forgotten about. We waited over 20 min after finishing our meal to even just make eye contact and flag down a waiter to see about dessert and another drink. We never managed to get his attention, not even eye contact (even though he was serving the table right next to us for most of that time). So we walked up to the til to pay and leave. At this point he greeted us as if we were new customers! I’m surprised by the apparent lack of teamwork at this restaurant. If he was so busy with his two tables… why couldn’t another server assist? I would go elsewhere for dinner. There are many other places with such a great atmosphere as well as amazing service and...

We decided to head out for breakfast and discovered this little gem! Upon entering at 8am we were greeted by a the very friendly staff and shown a table. Drinks orders were taken quickly and coffee and fresh orange juice were on the table in ten minutes.

We ordered the French toast and the smashed avo with poached eggs, feta and tomatoes. Both absolutely delicious!

I read the other reviews and thought I might be waiting a while but I am happy to report it was prompt and super friendly. The coffee was also very good.

Prices might seem a little high depending where you're coming from but I've taken a photo of the menu (June '25) so you can make up your own mind.

Chill vibes, nice music, great view and right next to the best rent a boat place in zakynthos (zante rent boats.. If you want a good deal tell them Skouliki sent you!)

Popped in today after wandering that end of Zante. Wonderful views, very clean and inviting.

Had 1 piece of toast with scrambled egg, partner had 1 piece of toast with poached egg and 1 rasher of bacon, 1 tea, 1 beer, 1 bottle of water....... 35 euros ha.

I personally think this is run by someone who done yoga around Chelsea or Kensington. We have had such great value with such wonderful food in Zante, I have no idea why we stayed.

No music, no atmosphere, tight on food.....literally left hungry - all English crew, no smiles or warmth. Maybe end of season bit sick of us all. Like another review said potential is there just a bit rubbish now.....1 piece of toast with scrambled egg....9...
