Snack academy — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Although staff are friendly and helpful, i can not overlook serving mouldy food. My partner ordered a gyros for herself and garlic bread for myself to take back to our hotel as I had a broken leg and was stuck at the hotel. I was eating the garlic bread and after eating a good amount of one piece i noticed that there was a spot of mould on the garlic bread! I checked the other slice and it was the same case. I hobbled over to the place to discuss the issue and a male worker tried to tell me it was a bit of black crust and brought out 'fresh' buns to show me blatantly lying telling me it was not mould. When I insisted it was he responded so what do you want money back or something? I said yes and all he gave me was the 3 euro for the garlic bread even though I said how my partner could not eat hers due to the fear of contamination. In all fairness I should have pushed for a full refund however one would hope more would be done. PLEASE...

10/10 customer service, they are so friendly and nice, i would 100% give this restaurant a shot if i was on a holiday near this place! The food is also fantastic, the gyros is one of (if not) the best gyroses ive had in greece! And their desserts are a straight up meal on their own! Their pancakes are so huge, and delicious, that you just cant stop eating it! They also have a pool game area, that you can play pool in for 2 euros/game, so its pretty budget friendly. Definitely worth walking up the road. Fantastic English breakfast , HUGH Waffles served with Nutella, ice cream, fresh fruits, biscuits and cream so delicious but order one to share as its dinner plate size. Great toasties and a great variety of food to choose from Their smoothies are the best we have had as they use frozen fruit and their milkshakes are made with carte d'or ice cream.
