The Patio — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Lovely place, probably the best place to hang out at if you are just spending the day at the beach.

Most places in Laganas will charge you 20-40€ for 2 sunbeds. The patio offers it to you for free if you're a customer. They dont expect or push you to spend a lot either. We stayed at the patio for 5 out of 7 days (the other 2 days we were sightseeing other places). One day we bought maybe a bottle of water, a coke and a beer and we never felt any pressure to buy anything else. An hour or two later we bought another set of refreshments.

As in most places, if you rent sunbeds from one place, they expect you to only consume their food and drinks aswell. So you cant bring your own water or snacks to the beach if you plan on saving some cash. At the Patio you get the sunbeds for free and if you buy some drinks so in general it was a great money saver.

The Patio wasnt really crowded. One day we were more or less alone at the bar for hours. So we had the place to ourselves and the staff never bothered us, infact the staff was very nice and over the days it felt like we were good friends, great atmosphere!

Great beach 1m from the bar. Super kind staff, lovely bar. Highly recommend! A hidden gem in my and my girlfriends opinion.

Where do I even start? We spent a whole week in Laganas and there were just so many restaurants to choose from. We walked by a sign, which led to, a bit shady trail. We arrived Dennis chatted us up a bit. The place was amazing, the view, the ambiance.

The menu had so many options, from Greek dishes to fries and meatballs. Dennis came by multiple times to check if everything was okay and we had a really nice talk. All the other staff members were really sweet aswell! The food came in and ugh, so good!! (And it didn't take long to arrive)

We had gyros multiple times and we didn’t get bored of it. The portions were also insane! We’ve got so much for so little.

We went here 4 to 5 times on the vacation and I could only recommend going here. Love...

Disgusting and rude service, we tried to walk through to get to Laganas as it’s the only way to get through without walking all the way back up towards the docks. An impolite pimply man said we need to buy a drink first if we want get through. That is literal bribery, we took a look around the place and it was literally dead. As we were taking a look around the bar the same man followed us and said we weren’t allowed in certain areas without buying something. Terrible customer service. He was guarding the path towards Laganas so I pushed past because nobody is going to tell me where I can’t go. He explained it was private property.
