Natalie Hotel — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

We didn't have any high expectations regarding this hotel, but somehow, Natalie Hotel didn't even meet our low expectations.

The receptionists were friendly (thank you for your help with the luggage and for calling us for an early check-in), but we were not informed from the beginning that we had to pay 10 euros per night to receive the remote for a very old, extremely noisy, and faulty AC.

We couldn't sleep properly because the walls are thin, and we could hear ATVs, cars, other guests' AC units, and drunk British tourists screaming and partying. We woke up several times every night, even while wearing earplugs, due to the loud noises.

The internet was extremely, extremely poor. The TV was so old that it probably has the Bible signed by the apostles. The bed was as uncomfortable as it gets.

Breakfast was the same 10 items every morning — decent, but cheap and lacking variety.

We had to complain three times in six days at the reception so someone would come to take out the trash and bring us new towels and toilet paper (which we had to buy ourselves after the second day).

The hotel has only one parking spot, so good luck finding a space on the street if you come with your car or rent one.

The tap water was not drinkable – it was extremely salty, to the point where we had to use bottled water from the store to brush our teeth and wash our faces. The shower water temperature would also change suddenly, either becoming very hot or very cold, even though we didn't touch the controls. Additionally, if we used the shower at high pressure, water would overflow and leak out of the drain area next to the bathtub.

If you're coming just to party, don’t plan to sleep at night, and don’t need even the minimum level of comfort, this place might work for you. But if you’re traveling as a couple or with your family, you should definitely...

Im writing this with the words of my 18 year old son who has recently returned from a 7 day holiday:||Location very good - could see the sea and beach from our room, close to the strip, recommend Vezalis restaurant / beach bar just outside the hotel for good value, hearty snacks.||Chilled out area on the top terrace of hotel is nice||Rooms: ||we had 2 x twin and 1 x triple room( 7 of us). We knew Air con was chargeable, and were ready to pay for it, but were told on check in that he was giving us , by way of compensation, air con free for the week as he had overbooked our rooms, so 4 of us would have to share one of the twins on the last night. not ideal but as none of us are small lads. ||But later in the week, that changed to four of us would have to share a twin room for the last 2 nights. I was unwell and needed to rest so i had to cut short my nights to came back to the room early each those nights to get some sleep before the rest of the lads came back to try to cram into the beds. ||Pool area ||Sitting by the pool one day early in the holiday, me and my friend were showered with flying pieces of excrement which had come from an overflow pipe on the external wall of the hotel. Me and my friends stayed at this hotel last week, we booked it as part of a package deal with jet2 vibe hotels. The location was great and the beach was close. We read multiple reviews on how the staff were lovely however we hardly saw any staff and when we did they were nice enough but spoke little English so we could hardly understand them. We brought the bed and breakfast, however the breakfast was very limited and really not that great. Our biggest issue was the rooms, the pictures make the hotel look so much better than what it is. We understood that our hotel wouldn’t be great however we expected a clean room. It was disgusting as soon as we arrived in our room we noticed how bad it was. There was black hairs on the bed, dirty floors to the point of walked on bare foot you would have black feet and the bathroom had not been cleaned in ages. I had multiple bites from the bed as well as catching ring worm which is disgusting. We made do as we we’re on a girls holiday and we’re told the cleaners would come round.
