Rosso Pizza & Bar — Restaurant in St Peter Port

Ordered pizzas for two and a side of rosemary fries. Fried arrived in good time, but were very undercooked, soggy, oversalted, couldn’t finish them. Pizzas in the meantime had still not arrived by the time we gave up on the fries. 15 minutes later the pizzas did turn up, but similarly to the fries, dreadfully undercooked to the point of being raw doughy bases, could stretch them by hand still, nigh on impossible to cut. All the while we weren’t once asked how anything was, nor when our food was taken away. Asked for the bill and struggled once more to get anyone’s attention to pay (worth nothing this was with the restaurant around half full), eventually made our way up to the till to pay, once again not asked how anything was, so just paid and left. Rossi is in St Peter Port near the harbour. Really trendy Authentic Italian Restaurant / Bistro bar setup. Nice friendly family owned. Staff extremely friendly and approachable. Great menu choices and the specials board options. Sat on middle table on high bar stools really comfortable. The takeaway pizzas were flying out all evening. Seems very popular with locals. Got very noisy when busy with added loud music and Others talking which made any form of conversation almost impossible. Fairly annoying. But Pizza and Garlic bread was amazing. Place has really gone downhill. Visited as they have just redone the place and thought it would be lovely. Had the fennel sausage pasta and for £17 the portion was absolutely tiny and I was left very hungry. The service was quick but the waiters weren't very friendly and were quite rude tbh.
