Lack of atmosphere, food is overpriced for the quality.Lack of choice. I am Gluten free and nothing was marked on menu as GF, so Waitress advised the Fish and chips was gluten free ,so ordered this, then came back and said no it was not, she the same to Gnocchi, then cauliflower cheese , then I was offered the roast lunch without gravy, Yorkshire and cauliflower cheese which i declined and so I looked at the children's menu and there was only a cheeseburger and chips from the kids menu without the bun that was GF, so had to have that as did not have time to look for another restautant before my friends departure on Condor.. Very disappointed as I was out for an early birthday meal with friends from the UK. Cafes have more GF choice options then here , and I was surprised there was none on the menu , I will not be visiting again, nor ,my family and friends, as their portions where small and costly , and the choice...

We came here on our first night in Guernsey and it was the best start to our trip! Jojo (Uzzwal) was the kindest and most attentive host, offering to take a picture for us with the stunning view behind and having a great sense of humour! People like Jojo leave a lasting impression and encourage you to want to return! The food was stunning! The fish was more like a small shark - it was massive and so delicious! The pumpkin&gnocchi dish was exquisite; maybe a little small if you're feeling very hungry (which I was!), so I was happy to have ordered some chips also! The local Guernsey brew is a really good one to try, but I recommend asking so your waiter/waitress can advise! 100% would return! What we really appreciated, as well, was the binoculars on the windowsill so you could see further! That was a beautiful&thoughtful touch! Nice mellow music which isn't too loud; I...

Just got to Guernsey on a short break and past here. Thought we would give it a go. We went to the top floor(top deck) and found a restaurant. There was quite a few different groups of people seated there. The restaurant manager ask if we had booked and we hadn’t. He got us a table. There was a menu and also a specials menu. I had the Crab Arancini from the specials menu and my brother had the shrimp serve on sourdough with a sea food sauce. Not dishes were full of favour(forgot to take pictures). For mains I had the minted lamb burger with skin on fries. My brother had the crab and prawn Linguine. Both meal was full of favour. The service was excellent the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We hope to return for steak night on Thursday. Also a nice view over the harbour well...

We visited here for Sunday dinner I asked for a sea / port view if possible. We had a lovely view. I ordered the roast chicken with bread sauce 😋 and veg Yorkshire pudding, parsnips etc. It was delicious the gravy was proper tasty and the whole roast i could not fault. My partner had the crab linguine and a side of onion rings, and potatoes (way too much) but was delicious. The service was amazing and attentive.. We had a party of 3 arrogant French people who faulted everything which I found rude and typically French.. We loved our meal there

The iconic Ship and Crown did not disappoint! The views from the top floor overlooking St Peter Port on a clear day was second only to the quality of food we received. Children's meals were filling and delicious. The crispy battered cod and handcut chips was a generous portion. I had the venison burger which is arguably the best burger in town! Service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Some drinks listed on the menu were out of stock. Considering this shouldn't really happen as they are part of the Liberation group, I've rated it 4 stars.
