Lack of atmosphere, food is overpriced for the quality.Lack of choice. I am Gluten free and nothing was marked on menu as GF, so Waitress advised the Fish and chips was gluten free ,so ordered this, then came back and said no it was not, she the same to Gnocchi, then cauliflower cheese , then I was offered the roast lunch without gravy, Yorkshire and cauliflower cheese which i declined and so I looked at the children's menu and there was only a cheeseburger and chips from the kids menu without the bun that was GF, so had to have that as did not have time to look for another restautant before my friends departure on Condor.. Very disappointed as I was out for an early birthday meal with friends from the UK. Cafes have more GF choice options then here , and I was surprised there was none on the menu , I will not be visiting again, nor ,my family and friends, as their portions where small and costly , and the choice...
Read moreWe came here on our first night in Guernsey and it was the best start to our trip! Jojo (Uzzwal) was the kindest and most attentive host, offering to take a picture for us with the stunning view behind and having a great sense of humour! We went to the top floor(top deck) and found a restaurant. There was quite a few different groups of people seated there. The restaurant manager ask if we had booked and we hadn’t. He got us a table. There was a menu and also a specials menu. I had the Crab Arancini from the specials menu and my brother had the shrimp serve on sourdough with a sea food sauce. The service was excellent the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We hope to return for steak night on Thursday. Also a nice view over the harbour well...
