Rouge Wine and Cheese — Restaurant in St Peter Port

Went for a drink last night and got kicked out due to expressing the fact that someone was dropping their guts multiple times. It was so bad that a group of girls got up and left after being so disgusted and blaming our table. Had to reassure them that it wasn’t us and expressed to the owner that there was a serious issue here. Fair enough, we’d had a couple and was likely being a bit vocal about it. Instead of dealing with the problem, the owner decided to eject us. In total, lost 8 customers in 2 mins due to some reprobate not holding themselves. At £13.50 for corkage and then adding a 10% gratuity charge on top, i would normally look past this as the setting is charming. But after last nights events i will be avoiding at all costs. I even went to apologise on behalf of our group to rectify our behaviour due to the disgust of this one table but was literally told to do one. Will be going to Lorennzo’s in Trinity from now on, which i highly recommend as the owner is more gracious and has a wider collection of vino at a more reasonable rate with no corkage and gratuity.
