They call me "Jerk chicken lady" now lol I have only tried the jerk chicken and it's the best I have found on the island! One order will feed me twice! The portion is big and you get jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantain, and coleslaw all of which is delicious 😋 the staff is very friendly and welcoming. My son wants the jerk chicken everyday! Only thing that is a bummer is they close early so it's more for breakfast and lunch or early dinner. Many trips to Roatan but first time at Mutton Pepper located at South Shore Zipline. The view and breeze was spectacular creating a nice island vibe! Great island music playing in the background. There were 6 of us for lunch, we ordered blackened redsnapper sandwiches, whole snapper steamed in a banana leaf, salads and plaintains. The food was fabulous and had great drinks. My wife and I enjoyed eating at Mutton Pepper so much on our recent trip to Roatan, we actually had lunch there again (so twice). The drinks were cold and tasty, and the food was delicious. Especially the jerk chicken. We actually got 2 additional quarter chickens to take back to our vacation rental for later consumption.
