Our family dined at the Chef’s Table Restaurant at Luna Beach Resort and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered basically everything on the menu including several of their premium dishes, and sides. Overall, the Japanese A5 Wagyu Tenderloin was the star of the show. It was unbelievably tender and full of flavor and easily one of the best cuts of meat we’ve ever had. I know it sounds cliche, but it literally felt like it melted in my mouth. The lamb chops, salt crusted snapper, lobster tails, and lobster mac-and-cheese were all exceptional as well.
The setting is stunning, with an elevated view of the ocean that makes the evening feel even more special. While we had planned to skip dessert and grab ice cream in West End, the staff surprised our son with a birthday cheesecake, and it too was honestly the best any of us have ever tasted.
My family enjoyed this immensely, and their gratitude as well as the exclamations of “best ever” about several of the dishes made it all worthwhile!
The attention to detail, warm service, and quality of the food made this a standout meal on our trip. If you’re in Roatán and want a memorable fine dining experience, this...
Read moreThe food was good but not anything special. The music was also too loud and they wouldn't turn it down when asked even though we were the only restaurant guests. Most disappointing was the bill. There was an offer for 241 cocktails advertised. We asked the waitress if this was for any cocktail or a specific selection. She confirmed any cocktail. However when the bill came we had been charged for all cocktails individually. We questioned it, and were treated as liers. Even when speaking to the manager he treated us poorly and refused to believe us. After a significant and uncomfortable conversation we paid full prices as we didn't want to ruin our holiday. However I'd never go back and can't recommend them. They can't clearly agree with you one thing and then deny it. They were not willing to even...
Read morePretty run down and overpriced in general for what you get but they have horseback riding on the beach so if that’s your thing it’s worth coming by. Don’t expect to come here and see animals that are properly cared for, it’s a money making deal like most everything on roatan… so don’t be surprised to see tiny horses that are malnourished and not in the best condition… its basically the norm in the mainland (although there’s really no excuse for it when charging thousands of lempiras per person per hour). The location is nice as it’s right on the beach towards the far side of west end, would be nice if they did some...
