Black Cab Burger — Restaurant in Budapest

The burger is just Amazing, BUT this specific branch in mester needs to work more on the service quality and customer service, I am a regular guest of this place since ~4 years and I have never seen them smiling at customers when ordering, all the guys there have a neutral to rude face when getting the order until calling the names to give the order. Moreover, they need to start to use a terminal to pay with card (the branch near Blaha have it), as I am sure many people changed their mind ordering as they don;t have cash ( happened to me several times ), besides it's 2022 and this is just normal to have nowadays :) I will review this review couple of months later if the manager/workers could take into account this remark :)

This place could be something special but sadly, it fails at the most basic level. They don’t accept card payment, which is simply unacceptable in 2025. Even more frustrating, the staff had no explanation for why that is. Not an apology, not a workaround, just blank stares and shrugs.

Speaking of the staff: three gruff, unhelpful men behind the counter who make you feel like you are the inconvenience. The man with the glasses was particularly rude…curt, dismissive, and seemingly annoyed by any customer interaction.

This is not a place you leave with a smile. And definitely not one you’d want to return to.

Such a shame. It could have been a good spot. But service like this...

Unfortunately, the greatest tasting burger is not enough if the simple things are not done correctly.

This was a repeated visit in which my order was taken rather unprofessionaly. No I know that this place can get hectic, but we were the only ones there at that time so there really was no excuse being this blatantly impolite.

Next, literally every single time I went there, they messed up the orders. From missing toppings to missing patties. I don't wanna check my order every time.

Yes, I'll admit the burger does taste well, but the bun is stale and overall the price is too high.

My advice: skip this one, go to a place where you are actually treated like a customer,...
