KFC — Restaurant in Budapest

Terrible! I pre-ordered on their website because I was on my way to an appointment, and payed in advance. I didn't get an email or any anything (but I left the page open on my phone). I arrived literally 1 (!!!!) minute after the time FROM when my order was to be possible to take (as stated during the ordering process), and was told that it had been taken by "someone" else. They tried to blame me ("I called your order ID but you were not here", while Wolt carriers came and went with their PREPARED, waiting orders. I heard another staff member saying that it had been put under the counter, so wonder who could have taken it.) I had to wait for another to be made, it turned out that they had just ran out of the drink I payed an extra for, so had to switch to another, which was cheaper, but I was not even asked if I wanted the difference back. The staff provide very poor and unprofessional services. The ordering machine do not issue receipts, so you do not have any order and payment receipts. And for staff this is normal… For this reason, I placed order duplicate, but the staff refused to cancel one order and laughed. They finally picked up the receipts from the machine, but throw them in the trash and refused to give them to me. And in the End, they didn’t even give me prepared food for cca 11000 forint, as they gave it to another customer who came after me, because they told - I was arguing and asking for a duplicate order to be canceled. I told them, I am in timepressure - because my train to Split has departure in 45 minutes, but they didn’t respect it and didn’t do nothing to slove this situation. This situation lasted more than 30 minutes and they didn’t give me food or return money. I have not yet encoutered such approach to customers. All wrong. I recommend changing staff. Probably the worst KFC I’ve visited in Hungary - or even in Central Europe. The restaurant is poorly maintained: the tables are always dirty, and the temperature is very uncomfortable. In summer it’s too hot unless you sit directly in front of the floor AC units, which then make it too cold. There are often beggars around approaching everyone sitting, and the constant crowd of Wolt and Foodora couriers makes the place feel chaotic. The food quality is consistently disappointing - the meat is always dry and vegetable ingredient never fresh.
