Meat Again Grill & Wine (gluten-free & lactose-free) — Restaurant in Budapest

Since the restaurant has “meat” in their name, we expected amazing meat experience. Well, the meat offer was very small. I ordered duck breast with potatoes- my duck was so dry, I could barely cut it and it was flavorless. Also, after finishing my meal I felt sick to my stomach. When I came back home, it was food poisoning. I threw up all night… My friend ordered medium rare steak, they brought medium steak, really over grilled one. When we were finishing our meals, the waiter came for the first time asking if everything is ok. She said that she wanted medium rare steak and wanted to bring her new one but we were in hurry.

Also, we were very surprised that they didn’t have a menu in English.

We were looking for a fully gluten and dairy free restaurant to enjoy our last meal in Budapest and we came across this beautiful place! Can’t describe how much we enjoyed literally every single bite! The presentations of the plates are beautifully looked after! What I’ve loved the most was on each bite I could taste every ingredient inside the plate that all together blended perfectly! So tasteful and good quality food! We had the mutabal and the duck liver (so tender!) to start, followed by the bbq chicken skewer and medium rib eye steak (cooked perfectly!) ending with pumpkin hazelnut cheesecake super delicious!! Simply amazing! It is one of the few 100% gluten-free restaurants on Buda side, and also in Budapest. The food was absolutely delicious. Starting from the presentation and ending with the taste. So good! And the service was very good too. Attentive and caring. In addition, the place is spacious and the tables are well separated. An interesting thing are the post-it with the customer reviews covering part of the walls. A place to go...
