Nice place for small groups! Date = 5 stars for the ambiance and charisma of the owner.

Unfortunately for a birthday experience, it is company policy to not allow split bills over a certain number of people (we were 10) because it takes them too much time on their ‘old system’ to figure out. Go somewhere else until they have this figured out or it will leave a sour taste in the mouth of the more assertive of your group.

We received a pen and paper and calculator. Oddly the service charge was included and they were upset with our group for not knowing this “company policy” - it was not treated graciously by the staff by any measure of the imagination.

Otherwise waiters seemed a little rushed and orders were received slowly with only half the covers occupied - again nice if you’re having drinks with a date but otherwise will result in a prolonged experience.

If these things don’t worry or apply to you I’d recommend to go. I.e. smaller groups with no time pressure.

Would not recommend this place for a group. Otherwise one of my favorite places in debrecen, great food, interior and atmosphere and great service as well. The only thing its really lacking in their cashier system, its quite unusual that you cant split the bill as a group. Its very inconvenient if you are celebrating something that one person should pay it all and calculate it at home what each and every one owes them. Not to mention if it is a group that only meets once as internationals for that occasion and you are from different countries so its not easy to transfer the money between to the person who paid it. Nice location, very good food.Food comes fast. Unfortunatly one of the staff has some manner issues.We went 60 km away from Romania just to eat there for several times.The blonde tattooed waiter has nervous and because we did not order all people in the same time he started to use some bad words with his colleague related to us( he did not knew we understand hungarian).In other time when we were there even if service tax is included in the menu asked us extra 10% beside the 10% service tax from menu.
