Röstí Burger & Beer — Restaurant in undefined

As an amateur burger crafter and connoisseur I didn't know what I had in store when I sat down and decided to order a burger from this place, expectations were low and I thought I'd get the basic burger from a basic beer and burger place.

I was very pleasantly surprised when a perfect fat to meat ratio burger showed up that was smashed flat and crisp fried to perfection, juicy and yet crispy, when I bit into it I had fireworks going on in my brain.

The burger suddenly evaporated in under five minutes and I seriously considered just ordering a second one, the fries were double fried with excellent seasoning.

I actually loved it so much that I decided to write a review which doesn't happen often but after experiencing one of the best burgers of my life I felt compelled to do so.

I'd like to get the recipe for the burger, I need to recreate this pure representation of bliss.

Rosti is a burger joint located on the ground floor of the Old Dairy Food Hall in the city centre of Selfoss. They are open from 11.30am to 9pm daily. Menu features a selection of smash burgers, extra ingredients and choice of fries. Prices are reasonable for portion size and food quality. You can use any of the open seating within the food hall.

We tried the Senior and Barbie and found both to be pretty good smash burgers. Liked the seasoned fries as well and would be fine ordering from Rosti again if we find ourselves in...

The menu had a nice range and the food is okay - a bit greasy and salty but to expect from a fast food joint. However service was terrible - we waited 20-30mins and when we went up and asked they had lost our order and said they will make it. Wd then waited another 15mins before going up again and asking a second time where our order was. They then asked what we ordered so they could make it. Waited another 15mins before food.
