My wife and I visited this establishment to celebrate my 25th birthday, as I had been eager to try it for some time. She ordered the Classic Burger Meal, while I opted for the BBQ Bacon Burger Meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed the fries. They were well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and had a satisfying crunch.
Unfortunately, the burgers did not meet our expectations. While my wife found hers enjoyable in flavor, it was excessively greasy, which left her feeling unwell afterward. I experienced a similar issue with my burger; the grease was overwhelming, and I was only able to eat half before feeling nauseated.
Cleanliness was another concern. There were visible crumbs and grease on several tables, and spider webs were noticeable outside the windows. The napkins provided were of poor quality. They did little to clean our hands, and when unfolded, they released loose paper particles that ended up on the table and in our food. Additionally, the air inside felt heavy and uncomfortable, which detracted from the dining experience.
Overall, we were disappointed. We spent no more than 15 minutes at the restaurant, including wait time, and left feeling underwhelmed by both the food and the environment. Sadly we will not be returning to this location and maybe even this...

The difference in beef quality is quite striking, as they take their meat quality very seriously in Iceland (as they should for 10+ dollar basic cheeseburgers), but it's let down by lackluster tomatoes and lettuce, which is understandable. Few tourists and mostly locals here. If you're in the area and are fixing for a burger, I'd recommend coming here for sure. I lived in Iceland for a few months and of all the burgers I had whilst out with friends, Tommi's was...
Read moreStumbled upon this place by accident, after veering off Route 1 through Selfoss in search of a non-touristy place. The classic burger with cheese (me) and the vegan burger (her), loaded down with sweet potato fries, and washed down by creamy milkshake (me) and Diet Coke (her) were great, and hit the spot on our late afternoon visit. I like a place where one guy, without missing a beat, takes your order, takes your payment, slings your burgers, drops your fries, spins your shake, and brings all that good stuff to your table. Food and service so great, you might feel just a bit...
