AL RAZI RESTAURANT,KUZHIMANDHI KOTTAYAM

I am absolutely livid about my recent visit to Al Razi on June 3, 2025! I went for Kuzhimanthi at 1:30 PM, ordered your "normal" chicken manthi, and while I grudgingly admit the taste was "above average" (a generous 7.5/10), and the place was "clean," that's where any semblance of positive experience ENDS! I faced TWO INEXCUSABLE PROBLEMS:

I made the colossal mistake of sitting in that so-called "indoor" glass-roofed hall. It was an absolute nightmare trying to eat there! The intense sunlight was unbearable; it felt like I was roasting alive, despite it supposedly being an A/C hall! How can you even call it air-conditioned when the sun turns it into a furnace? People were literally sitting down and immediately getting up to move because it was so damn uncomfortable. If it's this hot during the rainy season, what the hell do you expect us to do in summer, spontaneously combust?! It's a complete joke! And then there's your pathetic service! I sat in that solar oven for a solid 10 minutes before anyone even bothered to approach me to take an order. And after that, it was another 15 minutes of just sitting there, impatiently waiting for our food to appear! To add insult to injury, customers who walked in after us got their food first! What kind of incompetent operation are you running? Is your staff deliberately trying to frustrate your customers?

You had better address these GLARING FAILURES immediately! This kind of experience is completely...

Please don’t go there to eat. The food is terrible. I had Mandhi from this place a few years ago and was a fan of Al Razi back then. Yesterday, I brought my colleagues from Kochi to Kottayam and recommended Al Razi with confidence but I deeply regret that decision.

My entire team was disappointed. We are a restaurant brand team ourselves, and this experience was extremely disheartening. We ordered Al Faham Mandhi, but it tasted awful nothing like Mandhi, and nothing like what it used to be. The rice was sticky, tasteless, and seemed like old rice without any of the aroma or flavor Mandhi rice should have. The chicken was equally bad, with no real taste.

The service was just as disappointing. The reception’s attitude was poor, and there were long delays in even taking our order. We had to wait far too long, which only added to the frustration.

Overall, this was a completely disappointing experience. I will never eat...

Disappointed with the service provided by the restaurant, and not the service person. Orders mutton and chicken manthi for multiple people, the main reason we order mutton Mandy Is only because two of our friend are allergic to chicken dishes. Once we started eating the food, and then only the supplier informs us that the rise is common for every manthi’s in that restaurant. They didn’t inform us before we orde the food, or once they service us. And not even they mention that on their menu about a common rice for every manthi. truely disappointed about the service. We paid nearly double the price of chicken mandi for our mutton mandi and the only difference is the meat and the rice is Same for everything.

Requesting the owners or the management to kindly mention in their menus about providing the same rice for every mandi in this restaurant.

I hope they will update their menu cards...
