Hi,to all food lovers out there, I am a great fan of broast chicken and I started eating this about twenty years ago in Jeddah. Al -Baik and KFC were the big names in broast chicken and al-baik had a far greater fan following than kfc. The secret of their success was the tasty garlic paste they served with fried chicken and it was slightly more reasonably priced than kfc. Now, broasted chicken might appear to be easy to make but it is not quite so. After coming to kerala I had gone to many restaurants serving this thing but many of them closed after a while. In Thodupuzha itself three restaurants tried to make it but failed miserably and had to close down. The reason is that the typical Indian mentality reduces quality to match up with inflationary pressures. so they start saving expenses here and there and the result can be disastrous on taste and quality. The only people who don't recognize this are the restaurant owners! people recognize it immediately and call it quits. for eg: they start saving on oil a little bit reusing it a few times. Now, the oil absorbs chicken fat on the first fry and in subsequent fries it cannot absorb so much chicken fat and after a while the chicken fat in the oil even goes back to the chicken and the result is horribly tasting chicken. Now, in my experience, KFC gas taken great pains to ensure consistent quality discarding so many things at the right time which other restaurant owners normally does not do . this is why the price is a little high compared to ...others. Again, I felt better having more privacy without the disturbance of waiters on the first floor. but that is only my personal preference and I have no arguments with those who disagree. I was told by the restaurant manger that they use suguna chicken from TN but in my opinion Venky's is better than suguna . I did not find drinking water anywhere on the first floor and the pepsi which is a must with fried chicken was priced way too high. I hope that kfc would reduce the price of essential extras like pepsi, bun and French fries. garlic paste is really an absolutely essential thing with fried chicken but God knows when kfc is going to realize that. Hoping that this review would be helpful to all good food lovers and to...

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The restaurant was empty, and the manager greeted us with a distinct lack of warmth, almost as if we were inconveniencing them. While I appreciated the wet floor sign as a safety precaution, it didn't make up for the overall lack of hospitality. The issues escalated when my younger brother needed to use the restroom. The door was jammed, and upon asking for assistance, the cleaner who eventually opened it was incredibly rude, making an insulting remark about his inability to open a toilet door. This was completely uncalled for and made my brother feel quite bad. Later, my youngest child accidentally spilled their Pepsi. To my dismay, no staff member offered any assistance. I had to approach the front desk myself to request tissues. However, the most appalling behavior came after we had finished eating. The same cleaner, clearly upset about the spilled drink, began repeatedly hitting a nearby chair loudly, making it obvious his actions were directed at our table. This was incredibly disruptive and genuinely frightened the children, who worried they would be scolded. To make matters worse, as we were on our way out, the cleaner aggressively pulled out a water viper and began wiping the floor with excessive force right where we were standing. This felt like a deliberate act of disrespect and was frankly insulting. When I complained to the manager, her response was a dismissive "cold face" and a vague promise to speak to him. There was no apology or any real concern shown for our negative experience. What was meant to be a fun, new experience for my young cousins at KFC turned into an uncomfortable and upsetting outing. The rude staff, particularly the cleaner, and the unconcerned attitude of the manager are unacceptable. I strongly advise others to consider other options, as this visit was a complete disappointment and certainly not the standard of service one...
