The food is very costly.. If you go there, you are not charged based on the food you ear, it's just because of the place the restaurant is situated in.
The table is very small and it's very congested to have a peaceful meal in it. The tables are just like fish markets, very cramped at the corner places and literally one has to fight with the neighbors for eating food peacefully. If by fortune, there's somebody behind... Forget about getting out. Even it is inaccessible for the waiters to serve. Speaking about service, the waiter just serves the food from the bowls and goes, using the spoons provided to us.
The raita that is being provided is very little in quantity and even the utensil is very small, as if there's exactly one spoonful of it given to you.
And the most important fact, you will be charged extra 5% without information as service charge and nowhere it is specified that it's gonna be levid.
Adding to that, the order taker first manipulated our order and tricked us into confusing that we had ordered that just for the sake of extra money.
Service is very slow and request for a chilled bottle will be first taking the normal bottle placed everywhere in the restaurant and then after half an hour, you need to ask the waiter for it.
My honest review, please don't visit this place unless you consider this as your last option and you're...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Varun’s Eat.
I placed an order at 8:05 AM for a plate of sambar idly and one masala dosa. I had been waiting for approximately 15-20 minutes when I requested to receive at least the sambar idly. However, it was not served until around 8:23 AM.
Upon approaching the counter, I inquired about the delay in receiving my order. The staff member informed me that the chef was preparing a dosa for the guest. However, the chef was subsequently busy cooking another dish. This behavior was not only disappointing but also disrespectful to the customer who was waiting for their meal.
It is important to note that there were only two people in the restaurant at the time of my order: myself and a friend. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to make a customer wait with hunger.
As a regular customer of Varun Inox for over a decade, including frequent visits to Varun’s Eat, I am deeply disappointed by this incident. I expect better service from a reputable...

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch, and it turned out to be a disappointing experience. Despite being the only two customers there (the restaurant was completely empty), the service was incredibly rushed and unprofessional.
The waitress seemed to be in a hurry from the start. We were still enjoying our starters when she asked us to change plates for the main course. As soon as my wife finished her meal, she took the plate without asking and didn’t even wait for me to finish my food before bringing the bill. She then insisted on knowing how I planned to pay—cash, card, or UPI—while I was still eating.
The worst part was when my wife went to wash her hands. The waitress intercepted her on the way with the POS machine, pressuring her to pay right then and there. This behavior was completely inappropriate and left us feeling uncomfortable.
It’s no surprise the place was empty—it was a mistake to visit this restaurant. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it...
