JB's — Restaurant in Assam

It is located in wallfort. I really like to enjoy meals here. It is a vegetarian restaurant where you will get different vegetarian options like dosa, masala dosa, pav bhaji, chola bhatura, veg biryani and all. I like the ambiance of the restaurant it is quite silent and clean. It is a family restaurant and you can also go with your friends. The staffs are well mannered and keeps the place clean always. They are polite with their customers. The best part of this restaurant is that you can also try different sweets and snacks along with your meal. The taste of all the foods are good. They are hygiene. I love to eat chola bhatura whenever i go there. The taste of sweets are best. I love to try their different sweets and snacks also. Also u can order birthday cakes, anniversary cakes or any other cake there. The taste of cakes are also good. This place is good to visit with family members. Usually this place is full specially in evenings and lunch time. It has one more branch near kachari ghat. But i like to visit this branch more because here the washroom is within the restaurant and the place is quite big as compared to that branch. Over all i liked the place and recommend everyone to enjoy their meals there. Also there is a special thing about this place. If you visit this place in evenings you will see a natural beauty as the tree outside the restaurant gets full of tiny birds. I have heard that they come everyday in evenings which makes it...

Today morning I went to get Club kachori as brkfast they said its not available I asked till when u serve they said till 10am n then I asked n then how come its finish they said someone ordered in bulk..then I said OK give me idli 2 plates but sambar n chutney only for 1plate I was standing there for few minutes but no one was responding me..i asked whom shall I address to place my order a guy said tell me n I repeated da order...then I went near da kitchen counter n I was about to say of da chutney n sambar then a guy immediately shut my mouth showing ✋ then I asked why everyone is acting so rude today..this is not da first time m here such rude behavior why bcoz m not well dresseed in da morning hours or something else... In short I want to say I never got such behavior but today I cud not stand such behavior may b they judged me as I was in my pajamas n tee as it was morning hours n I just went to pick up for breakfast...this thing I could not tolerate so I posted here rest about food it's always awesome no complaints but service has gone way down...

A Masala Dosa & A Major Disappointment – JB’s Ganeshguri

Today (i.e 10/6/2025), I had what might be the most frustrating restaurant experience of my life — and it happened right in my hometown.

I ordered a simple masala dosa (takeaway) at 2 PM. What followed was 30+ minutes of waiting, watching others who came after me get served while I stood there like I was invisible. Confused, I approached the cashier to check on the status. Instead of a simple update or apology, I was met with arrogance and dismissiveness. The staff (that one arrogant guy I swear!!) insisted that those who came after me had somehow ordered before me, which clearly wasn’t the case.

What frustrated me more than the delay was the attitude — there was no accountability, no apology, and certainly no customer service.

Finally, fed up and still dosa-less, I walked out — having paid, waited, and wasted my time for absolutely nothing.

Rush hour is no excuse for poor management and zero courtesy. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind — avoid this place, especially...
