Playboy Beer Garden, Guwahati — Restaurant in Assam

I visited here with my friends (whom I met almost after a year) at around 5:30pm. We were only just settled when their Manager or employee insisted us to move to another table (with wooden chairs and not sofa) when the restaurant was clearly almost empty and there was NO reservation sign on our table. When we told them that we would like to stay here until the reservation time, they again insulted us by writing their customers reservation time '7:30pm' in a note and placed it on our table. Honestly, we felt so unwelcomed and unappreciated, that we decided to leave the restaurant within 10 mins of getting there. Even if we liked the place, we absolutely didn't like the employees, mostly their behaviour towards female customers. My purpose of writing this is that they try to reflect on their behaviour and think twice before they mistreat people according to their whims. (Reserved or Not! I recently visited Playboy Beer Garden and had an amazing experience. The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time.

The food was the highlight of the night. The menu had a great variety of options that catered to every taste bud. I tried the chicken wings and they were hands down the best wings I've ever had. The meat was tender and juicy and the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

The drinks were also exceptional. The bartenders knew how to mix the perfect drink. I tried the signature Playboy cocktail and it was delicious. The presentation was also impressive and it added to the overall experience.

Service and atmosphere is good. Food is average. But be careful of their unethical selling. They give you offer of 2+1 on gin whiskey etc during happy hours don't fall for it. When you get the bill You'll be shocked to see that a single shot of 30 ml gin was rs 925. Their normal drink and cocktail menu is cheaper then their happy hours menu. The price of the gin in not mentioned when the menu is provided for the 2+1 offee just the brand names which is what I call unethical selling. Just like those cheap goa resorts. Just look at my bill and you'll realise. There's hardly bar and pub in guwahati that I haven't been to. But playboy beer garden Shouldn't do this kind of unethical stuff.
