Sagar Ratna — Restaurant in Assam

It's one of the worst restaurants I recently visited. I had visited this place a few years ago because of which I decided to take my in-laws to get trapped in to their pocket. The quality is fine, however they charge exorbitant price for every cuisine, which is fine I guess but the trap is, the quantity is far too less when compared to the price. I have been to so many restaurants but never ever have come across such a difference in price and quantity. The staffs are also not friendly at all and respond very lately. Now the big part is, when I asked one of the staffs, he said, 'yes the quantity has reduced over the years, but what can we do.' I just advised him to match it with the price indeed. Before I left the place, a lot of people came in, when I realized, this restaurant is basically targeting the Marwari Community, who don't care about money and can spend what so ever is asked from them; they indeed run Guwahati and belong to the big honchos...

Sagar Ratna Restaurant is undoubtedly the best budget vegetarian place in Guwahati for South Indian food. The North Indian food is also very delicious. They offer no onion no garlic (nong) food on select items.

The ambience is good and gives a family vibe. The staffs are very polite and well mannered.

Items are moderately priced. In this low price range, you get food quality and taste comparable to any high end expensive restaurant.

Food tastes better than Makhan Bhog or JB's.

Not recommended if you want to have only Chinese.

Advice: Cleaning of the tables should be done in a more professional manner. Just wiping the table with tissues is not hygienic at all. The Steward who collects the leftover dishes should not handle any fresh food (including pickle, salad and mouth freshner) or the bill book.

Will give 5 stars if these issues...

South Indian Food Had Masala Dosa Combo of ₹200 & A Nest cafe Cofee ₹40 (It was good) The masala Dosa was fine. Chutneys : Coconut & Red Chutney Was fine. Sambar was a bit sweeter and tasted a bit different.The Dahi- Vada was not up to mark (personal) The seating Arrangement and Ambience was Fine. मसाला डोसा कॉम्बो ₹ 200 और ए नेस्ट कैफे कोफी ₹ 40 था (यह अच्छा था) मसाला डोसा ठीक था। चटनी: नारियल और लाल चटनी ठीक थी। सांबर थोड़ा मीठा था और थोड़ा अलग स्वाद था। दही-वड़ा निशान तक नहीं था (व्यक्तिगत) बैठने की व्यवस्था और माहौल ठीक था। वातानुकूलित क्षेत्र। 🔷आरामदायक वातावरण 🔷उन्होंने पहले पानी की सेवा की जो अच्छा था। 🔷ग्राहक के अनुकूल स्टाफ प्रबंधन 👍🏼 🔷पलटन बाजार और रेलवे स्टेशन के पास 🔷नेपाली मंदिर के पास उन्होंने गलियारे के सामने एक बोर्ड प्रदर्शित किया जो रेस्तरां था 09 बजे से 11 बजे के दौरान खुला था, लेकिन मैंने 11:45 के आसपास वहां का दौरा किया (भोजन मिला) (जुलाई 2022 के दौरान मेरी यात्रा के रूप में समीक्षा करें)

അവർ ഇടനാഴിയുടെ മുന്നിൽ ഒരു ബോർഡ് പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.അത് റെസ്റ്റോറന്റ് രാവിലെ 09 മുതൽ 11 വരെ തുറന്നിരിക്കും എന്നായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ 11:45 ഓടെ യാണ് ഞാൻ അവിടെ സന്ദർശിച്ചത് എന്റെ എന്നിരുന്നാലും ഭക്ഷണം ലഭിച്ചു. (ജൂലൈ 2022 ലെ എന്റെ...
