I recently ordered from absolute barbecues, the genie family buffet box for 4. It's impressive that they were able to pull of such a huge spread for a cost of just 999/- in an amazing compact packaging. It contains Good for "4", 4 Course Menu ; Peri-Peri Chicken Wings 8 Pcs, Murgh Punjabi Tikka 8 Pcs,Chilly Garlic Prawns 8 Pcs for starters, Green Salad, Mutton Rogan Josh 4 Pcs, Ab's Special Murgh Makhani 4 Pcs, Indian Bread Basket 6 Pcs, Chicken Biriyani for main course and 20 Pcs Angoori Gulab Jamun, Chocolate Browine for desserts, Accompaniments, Chutney And Sauces, 2 Pepsi Cans. To comment about quality of food, the meat was very tender, fresh and well cooked, marinated in rich in-house spices, extremely succulent. Each dish was authentic to origin and the brilliant chef nailed it! The prawns being freshwater ones, was luscious. The chicken biriyani in particular held a flavour like none other, it is one of the best biriyanis I've ever tasted. They usually use leg pieces in the biriyani giving it all the more an alluring taste. The highlight was the anjoori Gulab jamoons. It was truly ambrosian. Though so small, it had the perfect texture and well induced sweetness in each of the tiny bites of heaven. Rich chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce completing the rich meal. The packaging is too good, the gravies stayed intact, the beverages stayed cold, triple taping all the dishes while they're still piping hot. This buffet box gives you a kind of aristocratic feel, what with the humongous meal they provide of such stupendous taste. It's the perfect getaway meal for the weekend with your family. Best grade ingredients used with maximum precautions. Highly recommended since it's great...
Read moreI recently dined at Absolute Barbecue in Yeshwantpur Vaishnavi Sapphire Centre for their unlimited non-veg lunch, and it was a delightful experience. The barbecue offerings of chicken, fish, and prawns were well-prepared, complemented by a diverse range of meal options including biryani, chicken fried rice, fish masala, chicken butter masala, egg masala, and chicken soup and more options in meat like duck , chicken, goat meat, and many more sea creatures. The vegetarian selection was impressive, featuring dishes like Hakka noodles, paneer butter masala, veg fried rice, and veg biryani, accompanied by a variety of soups and grilled options like watermelon, pineapple, and paneer.
The restaurant is kid-friendly with ample parking space in the Vaishnavi Sapphire Centre mall. Birthday celebrations are noteworthy features. The Hyderabadi biryani and fish gravy with chicken fried rice stood out, while the fish and prawns were impeccably cooked. The option to customize ice creams on the spot was a unique touch, with five different flavors available. Although the desserts didn't quite match up to external options, the Jalebi and spiced grilled pineapple were standout items that I would highly recommend trying. The staff's celebration of birthdays, complete with a free cake, added a personal touch to the dining experience. Might be crowded on weekends and pre booking is necessary. Can go without booking on weekdays. Overall, Absolute Barbecue offers a diverse and enjoyable dining experience, particularly for those who appreciate a wide range of...
Read moreMy past experience with this restaurant left much to be desired. Upon booking a table, I received a call from the restaurant to confirm the reservation. To my surprise, they mentioned a maximum dine-in time of 1 hour, even though this was a buffet booking. When I pointed out that their website didn't state any such time limit policy, the caller couldn't provide a satisfactory response. It's disappointing to note that this issue recurred across three different bookings, requiring me to question the policy every time to be allowed an adequate dining duration.
Moreover, upon reaching the restaurant for the buffet, I was disheartened to find that half the items in the live counter were already empty. Upon inquiry, the manager attributed this to the weekend rush. This was in stark contrast to my experience at their Yelahanka outlet, where even during busy times, they ensured a fully stocked and well-serviced buffet till the very last minute.
This inconsistency in service and policy implementation is concerning and adversely impacts the overall dining experience. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to ensure a more uniform and satisfying experience for their patrons across all outlets.
I reside in close proximity to this outlet. However, despite the convenience, I consistently choose to travel the extra distance to the Yelahanka branch. The superior experience and service at Yelahanka make it worth the additional mile, leaving me with a preference for that outlet over the one closer to...
