Very Unpleasant Experience @ dis store only.

To be precise I have been ordering cakes from last 10+yrs from Amma's Pastries.

To begin with I wanted to order Choco Truffle pastry - Heart Shape 1kg worth ₹800/kg + Special Design Charges ₹150 extra - ₹950. I totally agree with the charges + Price of cake which im already aware about. I have ordered more than 100 cakes. I just told them to make it look something special with few extra flakes of chocolate flakes just for the cake to look better rather than being a plain design for the cake. Staff at counter took 20mins to confirm price for the order, they were not interested to take order infact they acted very careless. Later asked me extra ₹100 i.e ₹1050/- instead of ₹950/- for adding few extra choco flakes on top. It is not a problem to pay another ₹100 extra if we are paying ₹950/kg. But the problem is with behaviour towards customer. They were least bothered to have even a word later even after explaining the minimal requirement. Not ready to take order acted as if they are giving the cake for "FREE". So I had to travel to next closer branch - Jalahalli Cross Branch which is 10kms away. Here the staff were very keen to understand my requirement and asked ₹50 extra I was happy to pay extra ₹50 as they listened and even explained how they will make the design even better.

I would suggest Amma's management to give training on customer service to staff here at mathikere branch. Im attaching bill from today to make my review legitimate. Certainly do not recommend this branch for any...

I am very much dissapointed from this place i have been staying in this place for ten years now and I feel the quality of cakes have gone down and the earlier taste and quality is missing .. i keep ordering cakes for all my family members each time and each time i hope that the cake should be better but npe it's challenging to get a good quality cake from this place and last time blunder happened with not even the name of the birthday person they missed out on that and it came just with happy birthday they called and they asked the name and I clearly mentioned the name but yet it came with no name ... And today I ordered a chocolate cake and the cake had no sponge and as soon you take a piece the whole thing Jus drips and there is too much of frosting than the sponge and the price is priced way beyond only for the frosting nothing else .. i am sry if it has offended the pastry lovers for this place but guess it's of no uses and I feel sad to say this review becos once I loved this place for it's cakes and now i feel i only get frosting and...

Based on the my recent experience i am giving this rating.

For Christmas i had placed an online order for their slice cakes and they accepted the order. Gpayd money and in the process it was a bit delay. Then after sending money twice, when i called by what time i could receive the order, they said meanwhile i was trying to gpay , someone offline wanted the similar item, so they sold it to them and my order was delayed one day due to that. Slipped on the commitment they made just to make few quick bucks. Not at all accepted and lack ethics in professional and serving the customers.

Second part of the issue is, since i had transferred twice the amount for single order, until i observed they did not notify me about the same. When i raised that concern they said it will be refunded within weeks time and its been two weeks and they are giving excuses day by day.

Will think twice to order from Ammas pastry due to their lack of professionalism and their avid interest in making only quick money over commitments and customer...
