11 of us went for bowling here the other day. Spoke to Dilip to do the Booking. He said he would provide a combo with Beer, snacks, Food anda round with 20 plays of bowling per person. On reaching there we found the place to be a little dingy. We started bowling and asked them to get the snacks. I dont know how to descrie their quality of service. He got us panner, some fruit smoked platter with potato, chicken and fish. He litrellay filled around 25 - 30 pieces of each in each plate. We were put off with the way they brought out such quantity of food. To worsen things, the quality of food was pathetic. All stale food except one dish. We had our beer and finished a round of 10 and asked him to refersh with another round of 10 as promised. Dilip then says that you played 20 times already as you played 2 times in one go.. I seriously lost my cool. Considering that we had our family with us and not wanting to spoil our mood, we checked out the main course and realised that that too was stale and quality very bad. The guy who was at the counter to add the games too was very rude and lacked basic service skills. So we just decided to leave and spoke to Dilip to charge for the bowling and beer and even starters even though we didn't consume much, but waive off the food charges. However he didnt care, waived 200 per head. So eneded up paying 8k for this pathetic experience and pathetic food and...
Read moreOne of the worst behavior we have experienced with the staff of Amoeba, ITPL. We have booked for 20 pax to have a team dinner. My team mates who were already there didn't like the ambiance and food taste apart from bowling. So we called them immediately to cancel the booking. The moment we have cancelled our bookings their true faces were shown. They started to blast us and even they have commented my employer. We still have the call recording with us. The manager started to blast us as if we are in debt to him. We tried to convince them (which is not at all our job) but they were not in a position to listen to us. Even we started to blast them after hearing all those F&B words from them. Why should we tolerate? It is our wish either to go there o not. We took the responsibility to inform them about the cancellation. What if we didn't turn up and remained silent? But still my colleague took that responsibility. This is the mistake that we have done. To add, when we went there to speak with them before booking the appointment, there was no proper response from them. For us it looked like, all SSLC failed guys with neatly dressed were appointed there in this field who are pretending to be a master in this management field. LOL... Even they don't deserve this one start aswell, but that's the least rating...
Read moreHorrible experience today at Amoeba in ITPL - a place I have been visiting for last 10+ years and it is sad to see the maintenance degrade over the years. Looks like they don’t seem to be bothered anymore about customer experience/service since they are a “big brand” now.
Started the game with a glitch which then they had to reset. Post this, a round later there was another issue and then upon complaining the guy gives a smirk “Ye toh aisa hi hai sir”. That followed by each round taking longer than usual to refresh, I called the attender again to complain of the lag but they didn’t bother. Then three rounds in, the bowling ball stopped coming to our alley and we had to fetch those from other alleys to continue playing. The biggest concern for me for lack of response, asked 3 guys of which finally one of them chose to help us and went to do a repair. We patiently waited for him to return but to no avail. The matter would have been solved if they had allotted a different alley to us which was also not offered until we lost our cool.
Really embarrassed to have hosted guests/kids at this place and furthermore with the response I got when we raised a concern. Thanks to the manager for issuing the refund, I was happy to walk out of this place to never...
