I have dined here 3-4 times with family and friends since the restaurant was inaugurated. Yesterday evening, I dined again with my family after booking a table through Zomato Gold. Service is good and the waiters are polite. The ambience is pleasant. There's valet service for car parking. Food quantity is good but needs a lot of improvement in the quality. Just to make the dish look good and colourful, they add synthetic food colours which is harmful for health, especially for children! Here are the dishes we ordered yesterday:
Mutton Bone Soup: The taste was good and the mutton piece was well cooked. But too much oil was visibly floating on the top.
Chicken Lehsuni Tikka: The meat was well cooked but left a lot of colour on our fingers and mouth! Also, it didn't taste garlic at all - 'Lehsuni'. Honestly, it wasn't marinated in garlic masala.
Chicken Ghee Roast: When the dish was brought, we thought they have sent a different dish by mistake. Later, we got to know that that's how they prepare Ghee Roast. The Chicken was over-roasted in Oil instead of Ghee. Must have stirred some masala in Ghee and poured over the meat before bringing to us. The meat was so roasted that we hardly found meat in the dish and whatever we found, was rubbery and very hard to chew! We were really unhappy about the dish and asked to cancel the dish. They offered us a replacement dish for which we refused and they politely obliged to cancel the dish from our order.
Egg Biryani: The only dish we liked from what we ordered. The quantity was sufficient for two. The dum cooked rice was well cooked and tasted well. But, they must definitely improve the Raitha. Raitha here is always too liquidy and diluted. It doesn't really go along with the Biryani.
This's a genuine feedback and I hope the restaurant improvise on the...

The Biryani game is going strong in Jayanagar. The new @aromasofbiryani.blr has a branch in Jayanagar after being a hit in Sarjapur Road. They serve Hyderabadi Biryani in here, which are their signatures.
You can start off with a masala papad, some Tangy lemon garlic soup and your palate is longing for something spicy. There comes the spicy Guntur Chicken, red chilli laden feast and dry on the exterior. They have upheld the name of Guntur chicken with using Guntur chillies in the wok tossed marinated chicken, spice is balanced well. From the tandoor, we have Tandoori chicken, well marinated, perfect with yoghurt flavours and the Desi spices in a chilli based marinade, given a nice smoky touch. The dish which I liked here is the Aloo 22 which can be made with chicken and paneer too. Breadcrumbs stuffed with potatoes and a garlic seasoning, this is perfect. Lemon babycorn brings the acidity out.
The start of the day, enter Biryani.. they have a huge range to choose from, they also have Pot Biryani, where the Biryani is cooked in a pot. If you order a Nellore style Jackfruit pot biryani, it just chuckles your tastebuds. The green chilli gives you a beautiful pinch along with the smokiness and the aromatic basmati rice, well I feel like going back for this now. Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani is amazing here, the masala is subtle. Their formula in making a Biryani is quality ingredients in the right proportion, fantastic quality of mutton is being used. The masala is subtle and you find the tinge of red chillies, if you're a spice loved do order the double masala. The rice grains are so well seperated and the long grains are perfect. Really love this. Vegetarians have fantastic options too, do try.
For dessert, you have carrot halwa which is not that sweet and...
Read moreI'll share my experience from the top, It was raining that day and we were immediately received by them with umbrellas, they even had valet parking. We got in without any wait period and escorted to our seats. The first opinion about the place was that they'd done a great job with the interiors. Very tasteful art and decor the vibe of the place was very nice. We were given the menue and the staff were more than helpful. They explained the food on the menue well, the things they suggested to try were actualy very nice and not just the most expensive items on the menue. There were a lot of options in the menue: From soups to starters and then main courses to desserts, they had it all. Another thing that was unique and much appreciated by me was that they had a small size and a regular size in the biryani. So we could try a number of varieties without having to stuff ourselves to finish them. During the course of dining, the waiters were attentive and came back several times to check on us and asked us if we needed anything else. They were very prompt in their service and friendly. The biggest surprise was when we were going to pay the bill, they told us there was a 20% discount on the total amount as an opening promo offer. So only spent about Rs 600 for 3 people. That was really nice, I mean who'd not appreciate such a good deal. As we went back out with our tummys full feeling satisfied, our car was brought to the front and they bade us goodbye. All in all a very pleasant experience, great food, nice ambiance, good service along with reasonable prices. I certainly couldn't ask for more. So hurry up folks the promo offer might still be there for a day or two so make use of...
