Brew Meister Craft Beer and Kitchen — Restaurant in Bengaluru

If you are in or around Jayanagar and looking for brewery then Brew Meister definitely be the go to place. Spread over two floors with ample seating arrangements. 2nd floor is open rooftop terrace and will give you nice experience. Service was excellent and staff members were very courteous and professional.

Visited on a Saturday evening with my friends to try out their brewed beers and some awesome starters and dishes. We ordered the beer sampler to start with our visit. They have seasonal Mango Ale, Stout beer, Pilsner and Pale Ale.

🍺 Mango Ale: one of the best beer on tap as mango season is on. Hint of mango after taste will definitely be a plus point for your taste buds.

🍺Stout Beer: dark beer made with roasted barley which results in a malty flavor with hints of chocolate

🍺Pale Ale: beer known to be hop-forward with a malty flavor and a golden to amber colour

🍺Pilsner: Belgian-style ale that’s very pale and cloudy in appearance due to it being unfiltered and the high level of wheat

Apart from brewed beers we order range of veg and non veg starters which goes well with the beer, some of the worth ordering signature dishes

🍄 🍤 Butter Garlic Mushroom and Prawns: mushroom and prawns totally infused with butter, garlic, pepper & lemon juice, all the goodness packed together. Its totally delicious.

🍤 Tempura Prawns: prawns coated with crispy tempura batter crumb. Goes really well with the drinks.

🍖Tandoori Lamb Chop: well marinated lamb chops with full of flavoursome masala cooked till tender. This was completely delight.

🐥Chicken cheese poppers: this cheese chicken poppers were perfect appetizers. Overloaded with cheese is definitely a bliss for cheese chicken lovers.

🐟 Achari Fish Tikka: This is one of my favourite things and they have done justice while preparing this. Wonderful taste with tangy smoky flavour.

🧀 Jalapeno and cheese Spring Roll: Crispy, creamy, cheesy and spicy and pretty much everything you need to have for the perfect bite!

🐥 Coriander chilli Chicken: perfect starter which anyone can order. Well cooked juicy and flavourful chicken pieces with lots of coriander and chilli also lime juice added extra flavour to it.

🌽Crispy Corn with peri peri: one of my favourite and constant starters which goes well with drinks. They prepared it properly and served hot and crispy with added Peri peri which enhanced the it's taste.

We have tried some mocktails and cocktails as well. Some of them are worth ordering. 🥃Old fashioned: whiskey based cocktail, made by muddling sugar with bitters, then adding whiskey. Definitely a must try for whiskey lovers.

🍸 Cosmopolitan: Vodka based cocktail, made by mixing vodka, cranberry, orange liqueur and citrus.

🍸 Orange blossom: Gin based cocktail, made by muddling gin, orange juice and touch of lime juice.

Also we had some dishes from main course to stuff our stomach. Pepperoni Pizza and peri peri chicken pizza is must try over here. Thin crust pizza was delicious.

Jayanagara ,this name alone will sound love in my ears and a brewery here ? well that's an added bonus for a beer lover like me ,this place opened quiet a long back and but couldn't go there .

Let me guide you guys how to get here ,this place is located right behind the 4th block bus stand ,the street is called as the gold souk road of Jayanagara as it's filled with Gold Shops and Brew Meistar ! :)

The ambience is here is talk about ,I suggest all of you to sit in their roof top outlay rather that indoors ,infact the indoors are small and I would really good there if there is no space upstairs ,you can look at the huge boilers and containers used for the brewing ,the roof top has huge screens for live sports ,so if you go here with a huge gang you can enjoy the sports ! There is a huge bar with ample amount of bar stools and all the well known scotch and whiskey stacked across it ,PR else you can sit at the wall edge and view Jayanagar ! There is no 2nd thought about the ambience !

Coming to the food ,the starters what we tried were Broccoli Tikka ,amazing ,it had this creamy marination and it was perfectly made ,the taste just oozes in your mouth if you bite it ,amazing stuff ,the mushroom starter named say cheese is better than Broccoli Tikka ,it was a veg ball with a mushroom base filled with cheese ,ordered 3 portions of it and it was a Bliss to eat it !

Started with their White and Red Wine Sangrias ,it was mediocre , nothing to talk about ,hence went for canned beer as their brewing would start next month ,went with Non Bhel Able ,a Bhel style bar bite ,amazing taste and with beer it was great !

Miss Misal Pav looked really good and rings that street food memory ,it was good ,tried their rotis and kofta and paneer curry ,the paneer curry was Soo too good , soft panner ,well seasoned and gravy was delicious ,I would just have the beer with the Paneer gravy itself ! :)

The desserts we're mediocre ,so try about them ,not that great ,Mango mint chocolate Chilli mouse was okish ,but the Masala Pan Pannacotta was just not upto the mark ,please avoid the desserts here !

Tried their Quinoa upma style ,it was well made as I don't know to judge the quinoa and millets ,I couldn't judge it properly .

This review is subject to change ,once their brewing starts will visit again and add my review for the beer they have !

Worth it ? -Yes ,but a little expensive for the food itself ,I would say it is on par with the Indiranagar and MG Road Rooftop RestoBars

This is one of the very few places in this part of Bangalore which makes you go gaga at their ambiance on the rooftop! A huge screen making the place lit and what else would a Cricket/ Football lover want when he's down at a lounge like this to spend an evening! Perfectly recommended for couples or a gang looking for a place to chill and spend the evening with some nice food and drinks.

💠A small recommendation before i go for a detailed review: Start with Say Cheese n Puff Daddy, end it with Miss Missal Pav and Bonnie and Clyde.💠

Now for my actual experience at this outlet:

🔶Starters:

🔹Say Cheese: Wow like seriously this blew my mind off. Amazingly prepared flavoured mushrooms dipped in liquid cheese.

🔹Non Bhel able- Just like the local cart style. Was impressed with it as not many restaurant would tender street food recipes.

🔹Brocolli Tikka- I could actually taste the broccoli , the yogurt and the cheese and totally enjoyed it!

🔹Puff daddy- Precisely the dish of the day! Baby-corn sticks dipped in a mixture of Aloo and cheese! Ultra cool.

🔹Street Style shots- Who doesnt love some amazing Pani Puri?  Amazing presentation.

🔶Main course:

🔹Miss Missal Pav- This just got me back memories of Old Mumbai! Perfectly made and a  good accompaniment for the drinks.

🔹Bonnie and Clyde- Some amazing Indian bread and a paneer gravy. Better than most North Indian joints in town.

🔶Desserts:

🔹Masala Pan Panacota- A mousse based dessert with little amount of Paan flavour and vanilla to go with it!

🔹Mango Mint Chocolate Chili Mousse- Frankly didn't like the combination that much.

🔶Cocktails:

Tried a lot of cokatils here but loved only the LIIT. This is where the restaurant lost the fraction of their rating.

Overall an amazing experience, loved the food and the ambiance. A very well spent evening with fellow buddies. Value for money is there considering they accept Zomato gold as well. Staff and Service is commedable as well. Valet Parking is also available for people having parking issues. So people craving for some amazing food to go with booze head out here!
