I don't even have any idea how this place has a 4 star rating. I'm giving it 1, because there are no negative stars option. In this college if you're an outsider, that is somebody from any other state except Karnataka, you're screwed. They'll treat you as if they're doing you a favour by letting you study in this college when the reality is that you've to pay in lakhs to pursue a course like B.Ed which hardly costs 5000rs per year in a govt institution. Even if you forget about the fees, the emphasis on kannada language is so much that you will always feel like an outsider. Believe me, if your idea is to waste money go here! There are better colleges in the country..dont be blinded by the fact that this college is in bangalore, because their ideology and behavior is from the early 1800s. There's nothing wrong in promoting your language and culture but if your idea of promotion means that you've to force it on others you're just a bully. The standard of education is sub par at the best. There's no focus on actually making the students fit for their job. Also, they've this idea that celebrates Hinduism only. Being a Hindu doesn't make you superior, when you live in a country like India with such rich and diverse culture you've to celebrate everyone and everything which is a concept out of their understanding capacity. They'll lie to you that the classes would be bilingual which is just a big fat lie. One of best college in banglore. Better than Christ, st.Joseph and jain university. Quality education is one of the specialty of this college. Highly qualified and professional professors. Wonderful Ambiance, friendly staff and affordable. Professors are really good in teaching and are very much friendly. Classrooms are big and comfortable. Huge library and auditorium along with cafeteria. Lots of extracurricular activities. This days college's are choosed according to money wise not education wise. Other colleges demand lots of money by showing campus but they don't care about education which is important. This college even though the campus is not that big like Christ and jain university but education wise vijaya college is the best👍💯. The fee is very much affordable and the education quality is a lot better than other colleges. And audio visual classes are also there for better understanding of the particular lesson or topic etc.. And many other subject related activities are conducted by professors for better understanding. The college is very clean and tidy. Every floor has purified drinking water machines. I had high expectations from Vijaya College and was keen on enrolling my children for both PUC and Degree courses. Unfortunately, my experience so far has been disappointing. Firstly, the contact number provided by the college is not reachable. Secondly, the online admission forms have issues and are not functioning properly. To get more clarity, we personally visited the campus on 29/05/2025. However, there was no one available at the front office to assist us. A lady lecturer, whom we approached for help, informed us rather rudely that there were no applications available for Degree admissions.
