If you’re searching for a restaurant that delivers on taste, quality, hygiene, and heartfelt hospitality, ASF Restaurant in Kalyan Nagar should be at the top of your list. My recent visit was nothing short of amazing — every element, from the food to the ambience, stood out in the best way possible.
🍛 Food Taste & Quality:
ASF takes its food seriously — and it shows. Every dish was a burst of well-balanced flavors, cooked with care and presented beautifully. The spices were authentic, the meat tender, and the vegetarian options were equally rich in taste. You can tell the kitchen prioritizes fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods, which makes every bite deeply satisfying. Their signature dishes are a must-try!
🧼 Hygiene & Cleanliness:
Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. The dining area is spotless, the tables are sanitized promptly after each guest, and everything — from plates to glasses — gleams with care. Even the kitchen area, visible from certain angles, reflects their commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene standards. A huge plus, especially in today’s times.
🌟 Ambience:
ASF strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant. The lighting is warm and welcoming, the seating is comfortable, and the overall vibe is relaxed yet refined. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a small celebration, the space elevates the experience without feeling overly formal. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow easily and meals are savored.
🙌 Outstanding Service – Kudos to Arjom & Rajath:
Now for the true highlight — the service. A massive shoutout to Arjom and Rajath, who made our evening unforgettable. • Arjom was incredibly courteous and proactive. He guided us through the menu with genuine interest, recommended some stellar dishes based on our tastes, and ensured everything arrived at the right time. His ability to anticipate what we needed — even before we asked — reflected true professionalism and passion for guest service. • Rajath, on the other hand, brought a calming presence and a deep sense of hospitality to our table. He checked on us with perfect timing, never intrusive but always attentive. His friendly demeanor and polite conversation made us feel completely at ease, like we were dining in a friend’s home rather than a commercial space.
Both Arjom and Rajath exemplify what hospitality should feel like — not just service, but genuine care. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable dining.
Final Thoughts:
ASF Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place where you’re truly welcomed, nourished, and cared for. The food is fantastic, the ambience warm, and the service genuinely outstanding. I left with a happy heart and a full stomach — and I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Read moreMy family and I recently visited ASF - Ancient Stone Flames BBQ & Grill in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru, to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! This buffet restaurant, reminiscent of Barbeque Nation, offers a delightful mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, with a special focus on barbecue-style preparations, including succulent fish and prawns. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for a fantastic evening.
The highlight of ASF is undoubtedly their innovative over the table barbeque, which adds a unique twist to the dining experience. Starters like the grilled fish, prawns, and chicken were mouth-watering, served hot and fresh right at the table. The vegetarian options, such as crispy corn and cheesy potatoes, were equally delicious and didn’t disappoint. The main course was a feast, featuring an extensive spread with dishes like Chicken Dum Biryani, Mutton Haleem, and Chicken Curry, all bursting with flavour. The live counter added an interactive element, making the meal even more engaging.
The hospitality was top-notch, with the staff, particularly the chef, paying individual attention to each guest. The chef Mr. Arif personally checked in with us, asking for feedback and even sharing insights about the recipes, which made us feel truly valued. The live singing was a pleasant surprise, creating a lively and festive atmosphere that perfectly complemented our birthday celebration. The singer’s performance was a crowd-pleaser and added a fun vibe to the evening.
The dessert section was a dream for sweet lovers, with lots of varieties to choose from. The hot brownie on sizzler was an absolute standout, indulgent and perfectly prepared. The Mithai Junction and Kids’ Junction were thoughtful additions, making it a great spot for families.
The only minor downside was that the place can get a bit crowded and noisy, especially with frequent birthday and anniversary celebrations, but the courteous staff and excellent food more than made up for it. The ambiance was vibrant, and the service from staff members like Suraj and others was attentive and friendly throughout.
ASF is a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience, whether for a special occasion or a casual outing. With its delicious barbecue offerings, warm hospitality, live entertainment, and an impressive dessert spread, it’s a place we’ll definitely return to. Highly recommended for anyone in Bengaluru looking for a flavourful and...
Read moreWe went for a team lunch with 12 people. As in we went there was no crowd at all. With in some time the whole restaurant was full and vibrant. They started with stone flame first and started serving as if they were throwing food at us. Lot of food got wasted on table while serving, don't know why they were in hurry. May be they had a competition of serving who will serve the fastest. And all them won the prize and we lost in the race. Service was really horrible, they wer not listening to anything properly, if you had to ask them to reserve some items it would take lot of time to wait, and ask them repeatedly. By the time they get it, you would have lost interest in eating it. And then comes THE CHEF, he calls himself THE CHEF ONLY BECAUSE HE IS WEARING CHEF DRESS. And he gives a long speech on food n service better than any politician. And promiced us to serve you customised everything especially for you. As i said before it's only a politician speech. We asked him multiple times for chicken wings with little more spice... But we got served.... No no... No service ... They were throwing the food... the same chicken wings repeatedly which we did not like it. I understand the restaurant was full, it's a buffet place and their music was loud... We requested them to lower the music volume little... again no response. Coming to the food part, mutton soup was awesome and it was very good. Chicken, fish and mutton served on stone flames were the only best things on entire buffet. So for food it definitely deserves 3 stars. And barbeque they served only fish n prawns... Which were of again not much taste. Their mutton curry n chicken curry were awesome for a roti n lacha paratha. And again Lacha paratha, they said it will take 15 minutes to serve. And they tell roti u will get immediately... What is d point here. Will leave it you to decide. And even after 15 minutes they got half cooked lacha paratha, i forgot to take the picture here. Again I sent it back and got it roasted. And was tiered of waiting waiting waiting. Mocktail was really good, which we all enjoyed. And seriously I can't even mention about veg options and desserts. They had chat counter as well, but if you ask what's available they say only Pani Puri and Dhai Puri available that's it. Overall it's an aweful experience because of the service especially. Food wise it's better which would have made our experience still better if service was...
