⭐ Restaurant Review — Sunday Brunch (₹2,299 + GST per person) I visited this restaurant for their highly promoted Sunday brunch, priced at ₹2,299 + GST per person. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the premium pricing, and there were several areas where the offering fell short of expectations.

🍽️ Food Quality & Taste: Underwhelming The buffet spread was quite extensive and visually appealing at first glance. However, the flavors were mostly lacking. Many of the dishes tasted bland, with very little use of spices, salt, or masala. For Indian palates, or even for those who enjoy well-seasoned food, this was a major letdown.

One of the most disappointing items was the grilled chicken—it looked appetizing but was completely flavorless, lacking even basic seasoning. Similarly, a number of other hot dishes were served lukewarm or cold, which further diminished the experience.

On the positive side, the vegetarian sushi was decent, nicely rolled and presented, though nothing extraordinary. It served as a neutral palate cleanser between other items and was one of the few items I went back for. The Alfredo spaghetti, however, was the standout of the meal—creamy, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. This was perhaps the only dish that truly impressed.

🍰 Desserts: Hit or Miss The dessert section also had its highs and lows. Most of the cakes and pastries looked good visually, but the cake bases were extremely dry and lacked freshness. However, the rasmalai was delicious—soft, juicy, and well-balanced in sweetness. If you're planning to try the buffet, rasmalai and Alfredo spaghetti are a safe bet.

👨🍳 Execution & Presentation There seemed to be a lack of consistency in preparation. Dishes like the penne pasta were clearly undercooked, which suggests either poor timing or rushed kitchen operations. One expects a certain standard when paying such a high amount for brunch, and unfortunately, that standard wasn’t met. The presentation was good, but flavor and execution didn’t follow through.

🧑💼 Service & Ambience Service staff were friendly, polite, and tried to stay attentive throughout. However, the place was extremely crowded, which seemed to overwhelm the team. It appeared that the restaurant had taken in more guests than it could comfortably manage for a Sunday lunch. As a result, orders took longer, some dishes weren’t refilled quickly, and staff struggled to attend to each table effectively. This impacted the overall dining atmosphere.

The ambience itself was lively but too chaotic for a relaxed brunch experience. Perhaps on a quieter weekday, things might be different, but the crowd management this Sunday left a lot to be desired.

💰 Value for Money At over ₹2,700 per head (including taxes), I had much higher expectations—both in terms of taste and service quality. Given the poor flavor profile of most dishes, delays in service, and the crowded setup, it's hard to say the brunch was worth the price.

📝 Final Thoughts This Sunday brunch had the potential to be a great experience but fell short on many counts. If you're considering dining here, keep expectations in check—especially when it comes to flavor and seating comfort during peak hours. While Alfredo spaghetti, rasmalai, and veg sushi were pleasant to eat, they didn’t make up for the overall lackluster spread and service strain.

Would I recommend the brunch at this price? Unfortunately, no—not in its current state. The concept is appealing, but significant improvements are needed in both food preparation and guest management to justify the...

Dear Hilton Management,

I would like to make a complaint about the food experience at Asia Alive - Double Tree Suites by Hilton.

It was my sister’s Wedding Anniversary on 26th May 2021. I was planning to make some great food arrangements and thought of ordering from Hilton - Asia Alive kitchen. I called Hilton on 25th May 2021 and informed Vijay the supervisor at Asia Alive restaurant that I am planning to order food for a special occasion and the food has to be top class and he assured me he would speak to the chef and do the best.

I received the food on 26.5.2021 and was very excited to present it to my sister. The aroma was lingering and we thought we are in for a treat. But, the food tasted stale and I was disappointed by its taste. That was the very reason why I did not order through your delivery partners to ensure you follow my instructions well and provide a delightful experience. If you are going to serve me some leftover food then you should not be taking any orders. This is a terrible experience and not something you expect from a star hotel like Hilton. Instead of making our day you have totally spoiled it! A total waste of money and effort! The worst part was my brother-in-law had an upset stomach due to food poisoning.

Then I did speak to Vijay about the food and asked for a manager. He had Rakhi call me she patiently listened to me and said she requested to make up for the bad food and send some Chinese food as it is our specialty. I agreed and I asked it to be delivered on 28.5.2021 evening.

I received the food and the packing was good. I ordered couple of Chicken Clear soup,2 mixed fried rice, 1 Chicken Noodles and 1 Chilli Chicken(Saucy). So, what do you expect and what was the food like? You expect exquisite taste but instead the food was below par and pretty bland. You guys need a complete change in the taste department.

To sum it up, this is not at all ‘Hilton’ quality for sure.My honest feedback is the food is poor in taste as well as...

My sister hosted birthday dinner here last Thursday and we had a good time. Food options are plenty and in both vegetarian and non vegetarian preferences they had different cuisines to choose from. Starters were decent and I liked mushroom and baked vegetables in particular. Chicken dishes were well cooked and adequately spiced to meet everyone's palates. Desserts were ok, nothing too great to write home about but the rose flavored one was best of the lot. They also have a couple of icecream flavours although it is not on display. But stood out for me was their service. Specially Chandni, she was extremely patient and served us well with a smile. Kanak also was great and they had a surprise cake for my sister too at the end which was nice of them. The only turn off was a large corporate team which was dining there but instead of sitting or being closer to their table they were standing right next to the food ALL the time which made it difficult for others to help ourselves. Something I would expect the manager to handle better. But all in all a good evening at...

The Dinner Buffet at Hilton was a major disappointment. The taste and quality of all the dishes were well below average. We even had to spit out some of the dishes, including Rocher Chocolate. It was truly unexpected to encounter such subpar food at a Hilton establishment. What made matters worse was that we were not the only ones dissatisfied. A nearby table with more than 10 people shared our sentiment and lodged a complaint with the staff, but no action was taken. To compound the issue, we experienced a firsthand taste of discrimination. While international guests were warmly welcomed and escorted to their tables, we were left to find a table on our own. Furthermore, it took close to 10 minutes for us to receive water, despite having to call the staff multiple times. It was a disheartening experience, and it felt like a clear case of racism. To voice our concerns, we reached out to the Hilton's Instagram Official account. However, our message was only seen without any response, which clearly demonstrates the lack of care for customer experience at this establishment.

1999 + taxes First and foremost the price details should be updated for dinner buffet from 1499/- to 1999/-, sudden realization of 33% increase could be a shocker for someone. Couteous Service, alongside brilliant decor as is synonymous with a Hilton property. Penning down the -ves first, few items were cold like the CHILLI GARLIC NOODLES, LEMON BAKED FISH and CHICKEN IN XO SAUCE, FISH FRY was over fried. GULAB JAMUN was too sweet taste, with a crystallized sugar coating on top, BASBOUSA was okayish. Moving on to the +ves, the starters served at the table were tasty, two separate chicken marination cooked in tandoor, one Chinese stir fry fish item and CHAPLI KEBAB. Every item from western asia was delectable to be honest. KHUBANI KOFTA and KANDAHARI MURGH was mouth watering. They had MURGH DUM BIRIYANI and KABULI CHANA BIRIYANI to go alongside. The CHOCOLATE FUDGE was to my liking, crunchy and mildly sweet, GAJAR HALWA was very sweet though, but that's how it should be.
