🪴Needs Serious Improvement – Disappointed Visit🪴
My recent visit was quite underwhelming and far from what I had previously experienced. Sharing detailed feedback so the management can take note and improve:
❌ What Went Wrong: No Proper Air Conditioning – The AC was either not functioning or completely off, making it very uncomfortable, especially during peak hours. A restaurant should prioritize customer comfort, and this was a basic miss. Quality of Food Was Poor – The chicken served was hard and dry, clearly overcooked or not fresh. – Overall taste and presentation of dishes felt rushed and lacked consistency. – Compared to earlier visits, there’s a noticeable drop in taste and quality. Price Hike Without Value – The menu pricing has increased, but neither the quality of food nor service justifies it. Customers don’t mind paying more when they see improvement or value—but that was missing here. Long Waiting Time – Waiting for the table and then for food to be served took longer than acceptable. No staff provided updates or checked on us during the delay. Poor Service & Staff Behaviour – Staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. – Requests had to be repeated, and no effort was made to communicate politely or professionally. – Staff should be trained to listen to customers, respond with courtesy, and ensure a positive dining experience.

✅ Suggestions for Improvement: • Fix the air conditioning system and ensure it works consistently, especially during busy hours. • Review food preparation standards to maintain consistency, freshness, and taste—especially for key items like chicken dishes. • Re-evaluate pricing to match the quality offered—or improve portions, presentation, and ingredients to justify the cost. • Train the service staff on hospitality basics—courtesy, listening, timely follow-up, and proactive assistance. • Improve kitchen and table turnaround time by optimizing kitchen operations and increasing staff efficiency during peak periods. • Customer feedback system should be implemented to actively capture and address concerns in real time.

Final Verdict: This place has potential and past reputation, but unless serious improvements are made in service quality, food, comfort, and staff attitude, it risks losing loyal customers. I hope the management takes this review in the right spirit and makes the...
Read moreSince a long time, I was looking to try a different cuisine and that's when I came across Zaatar. Zaatar is a multicuisine restaurant serving delicious Indo Arabic food across Bengaluru.
I visited this place for a Sunday Lunch. The Zaatar Team ensured that my 1st experience there would be an everlasting one. The restaurant has a colorful ambience with a huge seating space. Customers are given array of seating arrangements - from a comfortable sofa seating to a combination of sofa & table chair or a complete table-chair setup. Since this restaurant oversees the road with glass walls, you also get the outside view while dining.
Even though they have a set platter menu - sea food platter, non-veg mixed platter and chicken tawa platter, I wanted to try out something different.
So I ordered: ✓ MINT COOLER - Refreshing mint & lemon drink, moderately sweet & tangy, giving a soothing feeling ✓ BABY CORN SAUTEED IN PEPPER ✓ PEPPER BARBEQUE - Juicy barbequed chicken, generously marinated with spices, accompanied with pita bread, hummus and mayo sauce ✓ BURNT GARLIC FRIED RICE - Even though this place is known for serving great non-veg delicacies, the aromatic veg fried rice was delicious too. Being a hardcore (non-veg) biryani lover, I was caught by surprise by this fried rice and became an instant fan. Perfectly cooked aromatic rice, the veggies and spices combination will definitely give a good time to your taste buds ✓ KOZI LAHAM - An Arabic dish, similar to Mutton Biryani. My kinda dish, aromatic biryani rice topped with mutton pieces, served along with salan and a unique mix veg accompaniment. The mutton pieces were perfectly cooked, could be easily broken with one hand TRIPLE SUNDAE ON A FRUIT SALAD
I would like to give a special mention to their General Manager (Mr.Menon) for being so cooperative and helpful. He made himself available whenever I needed any help. He also ensured I get to know about the particular dish before I start on the binge fest, by giving every minute detail about the food. The service was super quick. As soon as you're done with one dish, your used plate is replaced by a new one.
The staff followed all safety measures, wearing mask & gloves while serving food and also requested customers to sanitize their hands before entering the restaurant.
I am in love with this place and will come back...
Read moreIndo-Arabian Experience at Zatar Restaurant We recently dined at Zatar Restaurant, an Indo-Arabian establishment known for its grilled chicken dishes. While my experience was not exceptional, it was also not disappointing. Overall, I would rate Zatar as an average restaurant for those seeking Indo-Arabian cuisine.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the grilled chicken. The menu boasted a variety of chicken dishes, each prepared with a distinctive blend of Indo-Arabian spices. Accompanied by a side of aromatic rice, which is Biriyani. The biriyani unfortunately was not upto the mark and can be way better.
The experience fell short in certain aspects. Firstly, the restaurant ambiance was somewhat lacking. The decor was simple, and the seating arrangements were comfortable but not particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the service was adequate but not exceptional. The staff members were polite and attentive.
Furthermore, the menu options at Zatar were really limited. While the grilled chicken dishes were undoubtedly the restaurant's specialty, the lack of variety in other Indo-Arabian delicacies left something to be desired. The buffet had absolutely no side dishes or desserts for that matter. I would have appreciated some mutton or a few side dishes along with the Biriyani.
In terms of value for money, Zatar offered reasonable pricing for its dishes. The portion sizes were decent, and the prices were in line with other similar restaurants in the area. the limited menu options and lackluster overall experience prevent me from giving it a higher rating. If you're in the mood for decent grilled chicken with Indo-Arabian flavors, Zatar is worth a try, but don't expect anything...
