A Spicy Culinary Journey: A Review of Andhra Restaurant
Bahuka is one of the finest options for Andhra cuisine in Bangalore. We have been to their ITPL branch for having dinner. The name "Bahuka" is inspired from a character in Mahabharata who was a king well known for his culinary expertise.
► Atmosphere: It captures the essence of a typical Andhra dining experience. The atmosphere is calm and offers a pleasant dine in experience with your family and friends. They have got ample seating arrangements.
► Menu:
In addition to specializing in Andhra cuisine, they also offer well-known Chinese dishes. They offer Buffet (Non-Vegetarian/Vegetarian) and a la carte options. The price of the unlimited buffet is Rs 349 for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Buffet service is offered daily for lunch and dinner. Nonetheless, the vegetarian buffet option will not be available for dinner.
╫ For Non Veg Buffet, they offer the following items:
3 Varieties of Chicken Starters 2 Varieties of Chicken Dum Biriyani ( Andhra/ Hyderabad mainly) 3 Butter Naan Chicken Curry Pappu (Andhra Style) White Rice 7 Rasam Salad
╫ For Veg Buffer, they have the following options:
3 Varieties of Veg Starters 2 Varieties of Hyderabadi Dum Biriyanis (Veg) Butter Naan Veg Curry Pappu (Andhra Style) White Rice Rasam Salad
In addition, there is a request not to waste food and to share the buffet with a second individual. The applicable food waste fee is as described below:
Rs 10 will be charged for 1 Single Starter item Rs 50 will be charged for 1 biriyani piece
Their main Ala-Carte & Beverage options are as follows:
Ulavacharu Pulav ( Veg & Non Veg) Gongura Chicken/ Mutton Biriyani Fry Piece Chicken Biriyani Nannari Sarbath
Their dishes are prepared with premium ingredients such as Daawat basmati rice, Nandini milk products, and "My Chicken and More" for chicken, lamb, and eggs.
► Customer Service:
Their hospitality was truly remarkable. The Manager was extremely hospitable and ensured that our stay in Bahuka was enjoyable. Staff members Rohit and Sabir were very proactive in receiving our orders and promptly delivering them to our table.
► Food & Beverages:
We began our culinary adventure with their a la carte menu. We sampled their Prawns Pepper, Gobi 65, Mushroom Pepper Fry, Baby Corn Manchurian, and Gongura Chicken Biriyani from the a la carte menu. All of the served dishes were equally delicious. The Gongura Chicken Biriyani was made with basmati rice, chicken, gongura leaves, and numerous seasonings. The unique sour and tangy flavor of the gongura leaves is mitigated by the spiciness of the remaining ingredients. The Biriyani was tasty, but our favorite is the Hyderabadi Biriyani.
From the buffet section, we sampled their Andhra Style Chicken Fry, Chicken Kebab, Kadai Chicken, Chicken 65, Andhra-style chicken Biryani, and Hyderabadi Boneless Chicken Biryani from the buffet. Each dish was equally delicious and freshly prepared. We personally liked their Hyderbadi boneless chicken Biriyani. The aroma of the fragrant rice, the succulent chicken, and the explosion of seasonings were a real treat for the senses. The Kadai chicken was also delicious, with a flavor comparable to that of butter chicken, although the gravy was not as thick as that of butter chicken. Together with Naan/Roti, they make a delicious meal. From the beverage We had their Nannari Sarbath. The drink was luscious and refreshing.
► Our Personal favorites:
Prawns Pepper Hyderbadi Chicken Boneless Biriyani Andhra style Chicken Fry

Read moreI think I use the word DISASTER as the Apt one here. Really didn’t expect this kind of WORST QUALITY LESS food which I tasted today. With 3 of my colleagues went today for lunch. Being a vegetarian today, I have opted for Ulavacharu Paneer Biryani. Waited for almost 20-30 mins & finally it came…Ufffffffffff… don’t know what to say…the paneer they served is like a paragon rubber chappal or resemblance of Nataraj Eraser. PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC. Now coming to the Rice..I never ever had such kind of Biryani rice.. it’s like a paste…next the Item which I am fond of in general Ulavacharu. Never in my life time I had this kind of worst one..!! I really have no words to say about the disaster food I had. Then I turned to my colleagues to see is how they felt the non-veg ones.. the expression is simple from them “NEVER AGAIN HERE”. That statement tells how bad it was on nonveg too. We thought of giving a feedback but the incharge there was not a amicable person during starting of the conversation. He started with a voice which shows he is not ready to take the feedback until we raise our voice. Later came down & apologised. But that apology is also for name person. Which means neither the food nor the staff are good there. To the owners of the restaurant..maintaining the looks of the restaurant will not suffice the business but the manners of the staff & the quality of the food matters. By looking outside , we felt it would be a good time with good food if we visit your restaurant but HONESTLY EVERYTHING IS A DISASTER..!! Sorry to say but that...

⭐⭐ "Decent ambiance, but I was disappointed with the food quality. The biryani lacked flavor, and the meat was a bit tough. The service was quick, but overall, the taste and freshness of the food could be better. Not sure I’d come back."
⭐⭐⭐ "Nice spot with friendly service, but the food was a letdown. The curries tasted a bit watered down, and the naan was too chewy. The quality of ingredients seemed lacking. With a few improvements to the food, this place could be a lot better."
⭐⭐ "Stopped by Bhukha with high hopes, but the food quality didn’t quite match the reviews. The dishes seemed lacking in flavor, and some items weren't as fresh as expected. Would love to see them focus more on taste and quality."
⭐⭐⭐ "Ambiance and service were good, but the food quality wasn’t impressive. The flavors didn’t really stand out, and it felt like something was missing in the seasoning. An okay experience overall, but I wouldn’t call it a...
