Hyderabad Chefs (Whitefield) – A Disappointing and Unfortunate Experience
On Friday, 20th June, a group of six colleagues from our office visited Hyderabad Chefs (Whitefield) for lunch. The group ordered a mix of dishes: three of us chose different varieties of chicken biryani (Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani and Fry Piece Boneless Chicken Biryani), while the rest opted for Mutton Biryani. We also ordered Chicken Tandoori as a starter.
Regrettably, the experience took a serious turn. All three of us who had chicken biryani developed food poisoning symptoms later that day — including vomiting, mild fever, joint pain, and overall weakness. One colleague suffered a severe infection and had to consult a doctor urgently, while the other two also required medical attention and medication to stabilize the symptoms.
Initially, we believed it might have been an isolated case. However, after discussing the situation today at work, we realized that all individuals who consumed the chicken biryani experienced similar symptoms, strongly pointing to the food served that afternoon.
While the ambience and service at the restaurant seemed fine during our visit, the aftermath has been deeply disappointing and concerning. Food safety and hygiene are non-negotiable, especially for establishments catering to working professionals. Such an incident not only impacts health but also raises questions about kitchen practices and ingredient quality.
Two of us are fortunately recovering, while one is still unwell. We sincerely hope the restaurant management investigates this issue seriously to ensure it doesn’t happen to any other diners in the future.
The doctor investigation charges went uphill compared to the actual bill paid at...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Hyderabad Chefs in Whitefield, Bangalore, and the experience was nothing short of delightful.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Mutton Juicy Mandi. The succulent pieces of mutton, perfectly cooked and seasoned, left my taste buds craving for more. The authentic flavors of Hyderabadi cuisine truly shone through in this dish.
Next up was the Pachi Mirchi Chicken Kebab, a spicy and flavorful delight. The tenderness of the chicken combined with the boldness of the spices created a memorable gastronomic experience. A definite must-try for spice enthusiasts!
For dessert, the Double ka Mitta stole the show. This Hyderabadi special was a sweet revelation, with its rich and indulgent taste. The perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
To complement the meal, I opted for the Blue Lagoon Mojito, a refreshing and vibrant drink that paired wonderfully with the savory dishes. The Strawberry Milkshake was equally delightful, offering a sweet contrast to the bold flavors of the main course.
The ambiance of Hyderabad Chefs added to the overall experience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentive staff and prompt service further enhanced the dining experience.
In conclusion, Hyderabad Chefs in Whitefield, Bangalore, is a culinary gem that delivers an authentic taste of Hyderabadi cuisine. The Mutton Juicy Mandi, Pachi Mirchi Chicken Kebab, and Double ka Mitta are absolute must-tries for anyone looking to embark on a gastronomic journey. Read moreHonestly, this was my favourite restaurant until today. But, i’m very disappointed with their service. I had ordered 2 andhra chicken biryani and 1 kodi pakoda. After eating 1 1/4th of the biryani we were super full and couldn’t finish the remaining. In the left over biryani there were more than 10 pieces of chicken and a lot of rice. Like the bowl was almost full. When we asked them to pack the remaining for take away. They took our bowl and parceled it. After returning home when checked the biryani there were hardly any pieces like only 4 pieces and very little biryani. Looks like they have taken half of the left over biryani and pieces. I donno what was the purpose and reason to do so, may be because it’s sunday and they would have a high demand they did this. I’m not sure. But, i can assure that they took away our biryani. What if they mix the remaining half and give it to someone else as a fresh biryani 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I’m sorry this concerns me now and raises a lot of doubts about going back again. what if they use it again to give it to another customer and what if they have done this to me as well. Okay, in case the biryani fell down and they parceled what what ever was left atleast they need to inform me or give a fresh biryani, when they are taking the full price for the 2 birtyani. Please think twice before you go to this restaurant. Undoubtedly they have good taste, but their practices are not good. Very very disappointed with...
