After a long wait, today we finally visited a new branch of our favourite restaurant - BBQ Nation. After having years of wonderful dine-in experience, we couldn't expect the kind of service and hospitality we received here today.
Here are the points we noticed:
The staff at this restaurant didn't seem to be well trained as per the standards of BBQ Nation. No body greeted at the entry gate, infact, we were told to wait despite the place being absolutly free on a Wednesday. We waited for 5 mins at the gate before they gave us a place to sit without a smile on their face.
We asked for a different place to sit and we were denied, just because they didn't want to switch on the ACs for that different corner.
Despite asking multiple times, the service for snacks at the table was super slow; almost like they wanted us to eat less. Literally, despite asking 2-3 times, nobody cared to serve snacks at the table. (Not the grilled ones, the other ones, serving for grilled snacks was just a step better than the other ones)
And, the major surprise was waiting for us during the billing process. So, I had already purchased Nearbuy Coupons for 4 Adult Lunch Meals, valid till 22nd Dec on all days except the blackout dates. We were 4 adults and one kid of 6 years age, and another one of 5 years. The manager who brought the bill tried to act over smart and billed us double of what I was supposed to pay. Ideally, all i was supposed to pay was for one kid lunch buffet and one orange juice and we were given a bill of 1073 rs. On questioning the manager, he refused to make changes to the bill and made us feel embarrassed as if we were visiting BBQ for the first time and we didn't know how billing works. When we asked for the higher manager, this man went back and came after good 10-15 mins with a reduced bill amount of 577 Rs. I seriously don't believe this happened at BBQ Nation. A place of repute and this is how they tried to cheat us and the service was also not...
Read moreHi everyone! I had been visited this place for dinner with my family. Firstly I felt the lighting was too bright. I took 1 veg and 2 non veg. In veg they Started with Potato dish which was not at all tasted good. My daughter didn't like and she litterly changed the plate. 1st stick brocoli was good and I ordered one more and that was not all steamed and it was raw. Then they served Chicken Leg. which was ok ok they just tossed with chilli powder and salt. The fish was tastless and only one in one stick. we requested for one more they totally forgot the order. We stopped the starters and we just went to the main course. I took veg shahi biryani which was very much dry and was not hot. No body took that. Taste was little bitter. Customer service is zero. No body is rude but attending the customer is lacking. They forget and go the other customer. I keep asking for water they were telling i will get but not turning up. this happened for more that 5 time.
Dessert was ok. For the cost they charge it is not worth it. I feel very bad about it. Suggestion for Barbque Nation team. Please imporve the taste and Give better servie to the customers. Should attend the customers without forgetting. Respect the customer time. Customers are trusting you people and if the treatment is bad customers wont turnup again. Hope it will...
Read moreThis was probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had to endure. At one point, I began to wonder if the poor service was intentional, perhaps designed to mentally pressure customers into paying the bill and leaving quickly, minimizing the restaurant’s investment in barbecues and the main course.
We arrived at 8:30 PM and ordered three non-veg and one veg barbecue. They didn’t pay attention to us until 30 minutes later, and for the next half-hour, they only served the veg option. The non-veg options were brought to us only after I mentioned that I was planning to pay for whatever veg “delicacies” we had received up until that point and leave.
As for the main course, it’s easy for me to review because there was essentially no main course left at the buffet. What they had were leftover gravies. I saw at least three customers return their dinner plates because there was nothing left for them to serve themselves.
On the plus side, the bill was brought to our table within one minute of my request, so at least they provided a quick exit experience!
I believe residents of Nikoo and Sobha might prefer this outlet due to its proximity, but I’d humbly suggest they reconsider and not waste their...
