Here are my opinions based on multiple visits to Leela Bhartya , in particular Quattro
Food - Tasteless and Stale Seriously lacks quality , taste and variety to a great extent. The curries all taste the same without a care seasoning. The starters are pathetic, Paneer tikka was often found dry and bland. Chewy chicken , Fish items were not fresh, fishy and had a funny taste. The salad bar look unappealing as all vegies and greens looked soggy. Basic food at premium price is what it is. Wonder why the head chef self proclaims to be one of the top chefs in India ! Food should speak volumes not PR from the chef’s mouth itself !
Staff - All talk and zero service. If there was an award allocated for the most pompous set of staff, its Leela..hands down ! They don’t walk , they float in the air. Their mannerism and over the top FAKE enthusiasm puts people off and takes away any chance of having a private meal. They are in your face and talk non-stop nonsense while you are having your meal. They are unwilling to do what is asked but stick to your table like a fly yapping aimlessly.
Once, I had to request Lemon-Soda to be made 4 times as it was not fresh and tasted weird everytime. The other day, I sat in the lobby lounge and ordered a simple cold coffee. The staffs reaction and lack of enthusiasm seemed as if it was a pain and botheration for them to serve cold coffee. Their silence was screaming – only come for lunch and dinner and don’t bother us in between ! The next time, the same cold coffee was so bad that it gave me a sick stomach for a couple of days.
The restaurant staff are in so much hurry that they don’t even have the courtesy to ask or wait if the customer has finished the meal or not and just whisk away the plate. On numerous occasions, I have been the victim to this rude behavior. If Leela boast to be 5 star hotel, then the staff should atleast be trained of the cutlery positions on the plate. If the customer is unaware of how to leave the cutlery on the plate while leaving the table, before clearing the plate all you need to do is ask politely if they can clear the table.
If one needs something during meal, there is no staff to attend to. And if by chance someone does come, they have to be reminded again and again as they forget what you had asked them for in the first place. Rather than doing their job, all they do is hang on your table talking aimlessly , sometimes crossing the professional line and more towards a weird buddy manner. The staff should be trained that the customer has come to spend time with their near and dear ones and not with the staff who are intruding into the customer’s private time . Also asking feedback in the middle of the meal is utterly unprofessional.
If Leela wants to continue wearing the tag of a 5 star hotel, then they should recruit people and staff with basic knowledge and adequate etiquette. An example again is the door man at the entrance who needs to be trained how to open and close the doors of the car. The person at the entrance thinks we come in a World War Tank that he slams the door so hard that the whole car shook.
Ambience - Anything but 5 star ! Chairs and tables are comfortable but Flies and other pests are plenty all around.
I think the people running and working in this property should shed their lax attitude, get down from their high and mighty horses , wake up and start doing their job. The business is customer centric so do some good and genuine customer service and live up for once to the 5 star name.
Initially, I thought Leela Bhartiya was a promising establishment and could be recommended for our office annual event ( minimum 400+ pax ) . However, due to multiple non-satisfactory experiences, service and behavior , I have decided not to recommend Leela Bhartiya for any of our office gathering as I feel it would only be a risk and loss of reputation for myself.
Lastly, with a Google rating of 3.8 its no surprise that the templated responses from the management will yield any positive change as there is clear lack...
Read moreWe visited Quattro as a family of six to celebrate my father’s birthday, and I must say—it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish!
The dinner buffet spread was simply outstanding. There was an impressive and well-curated mix of veg and non-veg options, featuring a wide range of dishes like chicken, mutton, and fish preparations, alongside chaats, cold cuts, fresh salads, appetizers, soups, and live pasta and pizza counters.
A special shoutout to the main course highlights—the berry pulao, Thai green curry, Coorg-style mutton, and fish in XO sauce were truly top-notch and bursting with flavor. Each dish had a unique touch and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite.
And the dessert section—a dream come true! From rich Indian sweets like Malpua to elegant western delights like mango cake, mud pie, and berry tart, everything was thoughtfully prepared. The wide selection of ice cream flavors was a hit across all age groups.
The staff made our experience even more memorable. Manjunath and Chandan were exceptionally warm, well-informed, and attentive. They patiently explained the ingredients and origin of a few unfamiliar dishes, which we truly appreciated. Their thoughtful gesture of bringing out a mouthwatering chocolate cake to celebrate my father’s birthday touched us deeply. The cake was baked to perfection and added a sweet personal touch to the evening.
They also offer a great selection of mocktails and alcoholic beverages, each crafted beautifully.
This month, we’ve dined at 24/7 at The Lalit Ashok and Feast at Sheraton, but Quattro clearly stands out as the best. The variety, quality, ambiance, and warm hospitality set a new benchmark for buffet dining.
Thank you, Quattro, for making our evening so special. We will definitely be back—and recommend this gem to anyone looking for a luxurious yet comforting...
Read moreQuattro : This is an all day dine restaurant situated in the ground floor of The Leela Bhartiya City.
As I was staying at the hotel, I had my breakfast here twice, along with 2 dinners.
An absolutely massive breakfast spread that's made better only by the energetic , enthusiastic & customer friendly staff.
Live counter for a variety of egg options, waffles, pan cakes and south indian dosas. Readily available parathas, idlis, vada, and a few types of chutneys and pickles to pair it with.
Very good cheese platter, including the delicious goat feta cheese.
The dinner spread too was quite extensive, although the quality of fish dishes (grilled whole fish, Malabar fish curry, and pan fried fish with lemon and herbs) were mediocre. So was the chicken dum biryani that lacked any richness to its flavor.
Margherita pizza from the live counter prepared in the stone oven was really good. Ms. Nikita also fired us up a plain Neopolitano sourdough base with just garlic rosemary and seat salt, it was an absolute delight.
Authentically made middle eastern dips viz muhammara, hammus, moutabel, labneh. Muhammara being phenomenal. To go along with these dips there was olives in olive oil brine, sun dried tomatoes in olive oil, pickled gherkins, pickled onions.
Live sushi counter with a few options to choose from, salmon, pickled ginger, wasabi sauce, soy sauce.
Lots of bread to choose from including very nicely made foccacia that paired well with all the dips.
3 types of soups with one being tom kha ghai, one non veg clear soup and one south indian clear veg broth.
A decent selection of desserts too amongst which the baked yogurt with blueberry sauce/jam was quite good, almost akin to cheesecake in texture. Also there was Umm-Ali which was nicely made.
All in all we had a great dining experience here and would love...
