With a delicate sauce that is super smooth and no sharp pepper or spice, the lasagna is a deal breaker as the pasta melts in your mouth like butter. The overall bite satisfaction is 10/10, every bite has a an slight tangy tomato taste along with a cheesy and buttery flavour. Will never disappoint, licked it to the last splash of sauce.
The pizza is ever so thin, made of sourdough and topped with veggies and sauce cooked to perfection! The cheese is coated generously giving a beautiful stretch as you take a bite. The slices are not too heavy and overwhelming....very airy...making it perfect.
Even their complimentary bread basket is exquiste with their brown and multigrain bread served alongside some pesto and tomato condiment. The quality of the bread was outstanding, never ever tasted anything like it! we obviously asked for another basket and they graciuosly without hesitation delivered it.
After tasting the amazing variety of breads and cheeses, we thought we should definelty go for a classic tiramisu. Im so glad we went for it! The fluffy textue of the mascarpone and the hint of coffee in the cheese was intricately balanced. the bottom layer of coffee soaked cake wasn't too bitter nor sweet. The delicacy came along with some coffee icecream which was perfectly sweetened and superb along with the dessert.
All the staff were courteous and graceful.....thanks especially to the ones that pampered us and treated us with a big smile. Will visit...
Read moreVisited Toscano for my mom’s birthday and tried a few dishes.
The Filled Garlic Bread (non-veg) was soft and delicious, but we couldn’t taste ANY garlic at all. If it were just filled bread, it was great.. but as garlic bread, it completely missed the mark.
The Bistecca al Pepe was the absolute HIGHLIGHT. Perfectly cooked (we ordered it well done), tender, and easily one of the best steaks I’ve had.
The Arma Ham Pizza was nice overall, but the ham slices were so thin that they barely added to the flavor. A bit more generosity with the toppings would’ve helped.
The Spaghetti Aglio Olio (with ham, bacon, and mushroom) was disappointing. It just tasted like plain spaghetti with olive oil...
The Spaghetti Linguine Pescatore was one of the better dishes. Rich red sauce and good seafood flavor, though the mussel shells were empty and their meat was lost somewhere in the pasta.
The Penne All’Arrabbiata with prawns was decent... nothing extraordinary, but it's a good dish.
Friendly staff and quick service. Unique setup with semi-outdoor seating inside the mall. While it’s different and not bad, it might not be everyone’s preference... especially if you expect cozy indoor dining. There are kid friendly items in the menu. They also have high chairs.
Overall, the food was a mixed bag. The steak stood out, but most dishes didn’t justify the price. Not the best Italian experience, but not terrible either. Not really...
