The restaurant is on the third floor beside the food court and the kids play area. The lunch time starts by 12 and is not that crowded until evening during weekdays but during weekends, lunch and dinner time is bit crowded . You can call and reserve a table during the weekends.
The dishes were all tasty. Most of the dishes are sharing portions for 2. The prices are on the higher side but is expected from a joint like this.
The Rara kheema - Bombay style is very good but the portion size is for one , making it an expensive dish at Rs. 555. The kheema is very fine and the pav is also well buttered and served hot with the kheema dish.
Most of the dishes are pricey but some can be justified for the taste, others cannot be.
Service was prompt and friendly. The bill showed a calculated service charge at 10% , which when asked why mandatory, they had no reply. I don’t think this should be done and it’s not a rule anywhere.
Please look out for the service charge in the bill and ask to get it removed. You can add the service charge separately while paying the bill, if need be.
The restaurant ambience is very good with spacious seatings available. The restaurant seatings on the side has open windows facing the escalator and the food court on the other side - so if you want some privacy, you can request for seats on the inside corner area than the ones facing the mall. There are offers and promotions going on now and then for weekdays and weekends - pls contact the restaurant to see if they have any offers going...
Read moreThe food(Veg) was average , nothing particularly noteworthy.
The ambiance was also just okay, with the space feeling cramped when all the tables were occupied due to the limited area.
These things could be ignored but the service was bit disappointing. Some staff members appeared confused and unclear about details, such as the type of juice served or whether the brownie (served after the main course) contained eggs.
This lack of communication was concerning, especially since a few of us were vegetarians and had repeatedly reminded them at the table. Whether this was due to the staff being overworked or simply inattentive, it was disappointing.
It is important to note that avoiding eggs or egg-based items may not just stem from religious or personal beliefs but could also be due to medical reasons like allergies. Such dietary preferences should be handled with care and consideration.
Additionally most of the staff appeared rushed and tired which impacted the overall experience.
People visit restaurants not just for the food but for the overall experience i.e. good food, pleasant music, and a welcoming ambiance are essential for creating lasting memories with family, friends,...
Read moreAll Salt restaurants are our absolute favourites for their quality of food and taste . We visited Salt in Bhartiya Mall for the second time . There was live music . We didn’t have to wait and were assigned a table immediately . The staff were super courteous . Our order came very fast . We loved the soya chap sizzler , butter chicken lollipop for the starters . They had made it less spicy as requested. For the main course we tried their saag murg ( palak chicken ) . It was delicious . We also ordered melony tarkari ( Mix veg) . This dish is our favourite and we always order it . But that was a disappointment ! It was extremely spicy and we couldn’t handle the spice . That dish is usually creamy and mild spicy . But the staff helped us with a free ice cream to ease the burning of the chillies . They also didn’t charge us for the dish since we couldn’t eat it . Overall the food was good and we loved the live music. Would visit...
