Extremely Disappointed with Barbeque Nation, Sarjapur Road!

I had a confirmed booking for a birthday party at Barbeque Nation, Sarjapur Road, for 28th September 2024, for 20 people. The reservation was confirmed both verbally and in their system, and we were excited to celebrate at what we thought was a reputable venue.

However, when we visited on the day of the event to make the final arrangements, we were told that the same hall had been allocated to another party with 40 members! When we questioned the staff, they bluntly said that since the other group was larger, they decided to give the space to them,where our booking was clearly reflected in their app.

This is absolutely unacceptable! We had confirmed our booking well in advance, and such last-minute changes show an utter lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction. To make matters worse ,they were unapologetically defending their actions. They gave us another small space in the dinning area and had to fullfil our requirements as we had no other option since we already invited everyone there!

I am extremely unhappy with this experience, and I strongly advise anyone considering this location for an important event to think twice. If they can't honor their commitments, how can they expect to provide a reliable service?

We 8 people went for lunch on Sunday to Barbecue National located in Sarjapur Road just beside WestSide clothing store. Really liked the ambiance. The starters were good and timely served. When we wanted anything extra they served it as quick as they could. The Staffs were really friendly from the starting. they were constantly in touch to check if everything is ok with the food and service and whether we want anything. Starters were nice and tasty same as the other outlets. Chicken Biryani. Now one thing need to be said is about the main course, usually in other outlets of BN or even ABS the main course specifically the mutton dish and the chicken curry was average, but in this I found it way better and actually met my expectations or even overcame it slightly. So yeah, main course was good and worth it. Chicken Biriyani was good.

Few negative points : I could not find icecream bowl twice of the three times when I wanted an icecream, so twice I had to comeback with empty hands. I saw it happened with other customers too. Fruit options were really few, close to none, I really like pineapple which they didn’t have. And the roasted pineapple was really bad and was cooked too much. As a fruit lover, I wanted few sliced fruit to be there. Live counter could be bigger with more items, there were hardly very few things to taste from live counter.

We had visited Barbeque Nation Sarjapur for lunch on 02-Jun. The funny thing is that I have driven past this place almost daily but I didn't notice the signboard.

The barbeque and starters were great. The staff were very prompt in clearing the skewers as and we completed them. The crispy fried corn was very tasty. The aloo starter was also good along with some mayonnaise base. Unfortunately after the starters the rest of the meal was quite average. The Veg Live counter service needs to be greatly improved. The Dahi Puri that they served didn't have enough of sev and the other condiments. The Pav served for Pav Bhaji was not toasted enough. Although there were many options for Tawa Vegetables it was not done well.

The main dishes for vegetarians was very less with only Vegatable Pulav when we had our buffet. The Dessert counter especially the ice cream service place was too chaotic with only one person to serve multiple people. There were no cups and spoons for dessert.

The price was competitive but sadly they don't offer a welcome drink as part of the buffet. You need to order the drinks separately as they are chargeable. I sincerely request the management and staff to improve the overall food quality and service especially in the live and dessert counters.
